A stop at Candy Cane Lane

December 24, 2018 by DanicasDaily Leave a Comment

Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you all for  you all for reading and following me this year. While I am not always perfect in the foods I eat, I love that I can share all my eats without judgement and be real with you. Some days are better than others, but, the best thing is I can always get right back on track with my next meal or snack.

As we enter the home stretch of holiday eating, I am working on being mindful and not devouring everything in sight….just those things I really want to try…a little bit of lol.

I hope you all  have a fantastic holiday enjoying all the special items you get only once a year and passing on those you can eat anytime.

I used the rest of our turkey sausage from yesterday to make this tasty sausage, pepper, mushroom and onion scramble (2 sp).I finally decided on that I’ll make these Lemon Pudding cakes for our Christmas dinner dessert since we still have so many Meyer Lemons.

I picked up a tall nonfat cappuccino on my way to grab the rest of the ingredients this morning. (2 sp).We stopped at Jersey Mike’s for lunch after our final present drop off.

I had my usual – mini #7 turkey and cheese, Mike’s way plus pepperoncini and jalapenos. (8 sp)

I did steal a few of his Miss Vickie’s BBQ chips too (3 sp). After watching the movie Peppermint (which is do good – Jennifer Garner is totally a bad @$$ in the show), we drove to check out the Christmas lights on….

Candy Cane Lane & Lollipop Lane – yep, it’s really called that our here.

There are 3 blocks of houses that go all out but here are my favorite ones.I had 1 1/2 servings of leftover spaghetti for dinner – it’s even better the next day (12 sp).27 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 5K steps

Night all!
