Happy Monday All!!! Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes for The Husband ~ He kept asking me all day, did anyone else say anything?! LOL…I think he looks forward to your comments as much as I do.
He has had a pretty good day despite cutting his hand open at work and getting like 20 stitches in it. The funny part – he took pictures to share ~ Don’t worry, I am not posting them :) He seriously has such a positive attitude about it, even the doctor’s were asking him how come he wasn’t mad/upset. That’s why he makes me a better person…I can’t say I’d be in a good mood after that 😉
For his birthday I gave the choice of going to ANY place he wanted to eat at or having me cook ANYTHING he wanted….Guess what??
I really thought he’d pick Texas Roadhouse or Buckhorn Grill ~ his two favorite places.
Nope, he chose to have me cook for everyone and to make THIS!
This is by far The Husband’s FAVORITE pre- marinated meat. I LOVE it because it cooks in 15 minutes and is delicious!

* Chevy’s Salsa (did you all know they sell it at Costco now?!)

He totally scored some good loot from all of us for his birthday ~ It’s fun spoiling him….Since I LOVE CARDS as much as you all do, I had to share the one I got him.

I’m anxious to hear what you think of Date Night. We just watched it this past weekend and I really thought it was bad. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but the plot was NOTHING what I thought it would be. Too bad, Fey and Carell are a match made in heaven on the big screen.

I’ve tried the Santa Maria marinated beef from Costco, but not sure that I’ve seen the carne… I’ll have to look for that next time. Did you find it to be salty or was it fine?

I have had the Santa Maria Beef before and thought it was just ok…..slightly over marinated for my liking. I really like the Carne Asada because the flavor it like, not overpowering and gets better the next day. It is a little salty, but, nothing in comparison to the Santa Maria Beef. Hope that helps and do tell if you try it!

I just saw that card last week when looking for a birthday card… but it was for my brother-in-law, so I didn’t think it was quite appropriate. 😉

I have never seen Bill Bailey’s Carne Asada at Trader Joe’s, however, you can get it at Super Target as well as Sam’s Club.
