Confessions

February 25, 2019 by DanicasDaily 1 Comment

Hi all! How was your Monday? My day was pretty good and I am totally owning the fact that today I felt like I could eat everything and then some. Before I dive into my eating confessions, I have to tell you about these very cool Eco at Heart Straws.I think getting in my daily water with straws is so much easier. With the new straw ban in California, I was looking for Eco friendly ways to still use straws that did not involve weird paper versions. The folks at Eco at Heart asked if I’d give these a try and I have to say, I am quite impressed. They come in this cute pack with their own cleaning brush.

Each is individually engraved. They fit perfectly in my Mason jar cup and I have one in my purse whenever I want a straw at a restaurant. Fun, right?! They are very reasonable at $11.50 for the set above on Amazon.

I was starving when I woke up do I thought I’d combat that with alot of protein.

2 scrambled eggs, 1 Trader Joe’s Sweet Maple Chicken Apple Sausage (4 sp) and berries.I needed a tall nonfat cappucino today (2 sp).Funny fact – The Husband helped me make up this 2 Point Crunchy Tuna Salad this morning and he has never eaten canned tuna. He actually had me share saving him some for his lunch.

I was happy he was trying it until I realized that meant less for me lol.

I had my serving with 8 club crackers (5 sp).I wanted something sweet for dessert and thought I could eat just one of these.

Nope, I had both for 4 Smartpoints.Luckily the rain held off long enough I fit in a short walk. I might need more steps to offset today’s food though lol.

Late afternoon I was hungry again so I had a banana plus Trader Joe’s Lite Mozzarella stick (2 sp). When I walked in the door tonight, starving again, the first thing I saw was the Zapp’s Voodoo chips I got this weekend. I thought, I can have just one…then, another, ok, 3….it went like this until I had an entire serving *sigh* I love these too much!

5 Smartpoints later, I started dinner.

I made Shrimp Scampi tossed with garlic mushrooms, asparagus and shells. To balance out my day, I had only 1/2 a serving for 4 Smartpoints. Surprisingly I was satisfied and I am finally full!26 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 10K steps

Danica, it is so refreshing to see your being so honest about your day! I have had several of those “eat everything” days (especially salty carbs) and I am now paying the price by being up a few pounds! For some unknown reason, it has been more difficult than usual to rebound and get back on track! How do you motivate yourself? Thank you again for your posts!
