Daily Snap: Grilled Sausage

Hi all! Can I just start out by saying my food today was so delicious? I know I say that alot because well I love food….but today was definitely tastier than others. Flapjacks?, BBQ Chicken Salad, Grilled Sausages…..need I say more?!

Oh and Kale Chips….I missed them so much.

Is it weird that I crave Kale Chips or that I like to dip them in ketchup?

I was super excited when I saw that my favorite sausages at Sam’s Club now come in a 3 flavor pack. It was really hard to decide which one to try first.

100% real ingredients that you’ll recognize and can pronounce.

4 – 6 points depending on what flavor you pick.

Can you believe I didn’t make eggs for breakfast?? This morning I made a sweet breakfast for The Husband taking our berries, a banana, a little coconut and topped our flapjacks.

Lunch involved another Taylor Farms Salad Mix – this time I bought the BBQ Ranch chicken and topped it with BBQ chicken. I am really loving these mixes – it’s do easy to add protein and toss everything together for a complete meal. We grilled the Gouda & Pear sausages tonight and served them up with Kale chips & salad. It tasted even better than it looks.??

Daily Snap Recap:

B: 2 Krusteaz Pancakes (4 sp) topped with 1/2 Tbsp Land O Lakes whipped butter (1 sp) & 2 tsp pure Maple syrup (heated – it goes further) – so. To bulk it up, I sprinkled 1/2 a banana, 1/2 cup berries & a little unsweetened coconut

S: Grande Iced Nonfat Latte with caramel on top (3 sp)

L: 1/2 the Taylor’s BBQ Salad mix with 1/3 of the toppings & dressing (6 sp) topped with 3 oz BBQ chicken (2 sp) with 1 1/2 cups watermelon

S: Tall Dirty Americano (1 sp)

D: Kale Chips (1 sp), 1 cup Salad tossed with evoo & balsamic (2 sp), Grilled Gouda & Pear Sausage (6 sp) topped with tomato, pickles & 1 tsp secret sauce on a bun (3 sp)

31 Daily Smartpoints, 16K steps – 1 walking conference call & my 50 minute lunchtime walk

I kinda want to repeat my day all over again 🙂
