Hi all! This morning I woke up super hungry. I totally blame the fact that I went to bed dreaming about these Home Fries. I built my breakfast around these fries because who doesn’t want french fries for breakfast?! I figured I better add a few healthy things so I paired this with a scrambled egg and breakfast sausage.
After my lunchtime walk, I tossed together a quick taco salad. I replaced my cheese with “chili cheese” Fritos for one delicious Frito salad.
The Husband and I planned a mid week “date night” dinner out just so we could be home to watch The Survivor Finale. We headed to Outback for some surf (for me) and turf (for him). I talked The Husband out of the appetizer bacon & cheese fries by letting him know he could get them as his side. I’m so glad I did because I would’ve totally shared that! For my eats, I ordered my dinner to be cooked without butter or oil (even though they served butter on the side lol) and doubled up on my veggies. I told myself to finish my salad first then have bread. You know what? I ended up having just a small piece because my food arrived pretty much right as I finished my salad. Success!
