Happy Sunday all! How was your weekend? We have had a busy and fun, but, super productive weekend. Saturday and Sunday nights we celebrated a few milestones with our family and friends. I am glad to finally have a bit of down time now.
This morning I woke up craving eggs, potatoes and coffee so that is exactly how we started our day.
3/4 cup Ore Ida Potatoes O’Brien “fried” in 1/2 Tbsp avocado oil (4 sp) with 2 scrambled eggs.I picked up Starbucks for us on my way back from picking up a few things for dinner.
Grande iced nonfat Latte with caramel on top (3 sp).For lunch, we stopped at Jersey Mike’s for lunch on our way to pick up some more Sepay Olive Oil and Vinegar.
I ordered the Mini #7 Turkey & Provolone “Mike’s way” with jalapenos & pepperoncinis. Everything about this sandwich is good but the juice aka olive oil, red wine vinegar & oregano make it awesome and worth the points.
8 sp for my sandwich & 3 sp for a few Miss Vicki’s BBQ chips.Are you all fans of Cold Brew? I am truly undecided….like, I really want to like it, but, I am not sure that I do.
I picked up this Coconut Cold Brew at Trader Joe’s this weekend to try. For 0 Smartpoints – why not?!
The verdict…It’s very coconutty but not bad. Like I said, I want to love it but….I kept our dinner simple tonight even though we were entertaining as I am focusing on using what’s in the house before our next trip.
1/2 cup rigatoni with 1/2 cup turkey spaghetti sauce (4 sp), 2 pieces homemade garlic bread (3 sp) and salad with 1 tsp sunflower seeds, avocado and a little ranch (3 sp)We all had watermelon for dessert.
