Happy Tuesday all! I actually started craving what I wanted for breakfast this morning last night…..It’s been way too long since I’ve had an egg-wich!
Served up with FREE Coffee on the Train for Customer Appreciation day
* 2 slices of Trader Joe’s FF Multi-Grain Bread (3 points+)
* 1 tsp whipped butter (1 points+) and totally optional
* 1 “fried” egg (2 points+)
Plus a BIG container of the BEST MELONS of the season to help keep me full for 4 hours.
I know some of you were wondering yesterday when I mentioned the “Mystery Soup” if I was going to eat it and if it was soup or sauce…..
I opened the container…stirred, smelled and knew EXACTLY what it was….Remember my 4 points+ Chicken Tortilla Soup???
Sometimes mystery containers from the freezer can be a good thing
Part 2 of my lunch was in my fancy new Attune’s Cereal Bowl.
It’s TOTALLY what’s on the inside that counts

* 1 tsp cranberries (0 points+)
* 1 Tbsp Roasted Walnuts (2 points+)
* Topped with 1 Tbsp Trader Joe’s Low-Fat Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette (1 points+)
My lunch kept me surprisingly full all afternoon, but, I couldn’t resist busting into my planning afternoon snackage!
1 Tbsp of the best spread you will ever eat ~ Biscoff!! (2 points+)
If you are ever wondering if you should buy the spread, BUY IT, you will LOVE It if you LOVE the cookies!
Topped on TWO BIscoff Cookies (2 points+)…..
Seriously….words cannot even describe how good this is!
I have been asking Tracey for weeks now how she makes her grilled pizza because every time she does, I drool over the pictures.
She sent me a message on my train ride home that she wanted pizza tonight….So, I invited her over to show me how…..
Start off by “seasoning” your pizza stone (rubbing it with a little canola oil) and placing it on a cold grill. Pre-heat the grill with your stone on it for 15 minutes.
While the grill is heating, prep the pizza on the Pizza Peel! Rub corn meal all over the top of the peel.
NOTE ~ do NOT use stone ground, use fine ground or you end up with bird seeds
I used Trader Joe’s Pre-Made Pizza Dough and hand rolled it out before placing it on the peel and topping it with Trader Joe’s Pizza Sauce.
3 oz finely shredded part skim mozzarella
Pile all the low points+ toppings ~ Pickled Cherry Peppers, Pineapple, Olives
24 Turkey Pepperoni (3 points++
Finish with 2 Tbsp Parmesan. I would’ve totally added crushed red pepper flakes, but, the two spice wimps in the house out voted me
Take your pizza and peel to the BBQ and do a little shake/wiggle to slide it off the paddle. The corn meal is what allows it to slide right off.
Bootie shaking at the same time is totally acceptable.
It’s totally ok if the dough flows over the sides ~ that part just gets extra crunchy.
Isn’t Tracey looking skinny?! No, I didn’t say that because she was shaking her paddle at me….her pool workouts and healthy eats like (Grilled Pizza!) make her look amazing!
Close the lid and let your pizza grill for about 10-15 minutes depending on how hot your grill gets.
You made need to use the peel to move it around and check if it is done. We placed it on a cookie sheet when it was all done.
Salty, sweet, crunchy, spicy, cheesy, doughy…..GOOD!

Q’s
Have you ever grilled pizza? Do you grill yours on a stone or on the grill? Think it is better than in the oven?
This is the first time I have ever grilled a pizza and I have to say, it might be my favorite new thing! Half the fun is the way it cooks and using a pizza peel….the other half is just how GOOD it is!
Night all!
I wish I had taken that last slice home for a midnight snackie! Hehe 🙂
You are too kind…I wish the scale would show my hard work. Lol eventually it will…so I’m gonna keep on jumping in that pool! 🙂 thanks girlie!
🙂
love grilled pizza! i’ve never used my stone on the grill, though. I should try that.
LOVE that! Oh my! Now I just need a pizza stone…and a paddle. =P Tracey is looking FABULOUS!! Is her hair lighter as well? I am so sad that I am not in California right now. lol
Thank you for sharing!
This post has me chanting “MUST get a pizza peel”! Looks delish!
I’m addicted to cantaloupe at the moment 😀 so yummy! I don’t know if you’re a Costco member, but they sell cantaloupes by 3’s… I cut them in half and half a whole half with breakfast- they make great “bowls”!
Love grilled pizza, it’s our new summer favorite! We plop it straight on the grill, no stone, even my New Yorker husband loves it. I have also found that I prefer the pre-made Nugget dough over the Trader Joe’s… So good!
Okay…so first off…where do you find the Biscoff spread?? After much searching, I finally found the cookies…and they are great…but what I really want to try is the spread.
Second…and be honest…is the Split Pea soup really that good?? I’m contemplating making it.
Does TJ deliver??? In 30 minutes or less or it’s free? 🙂 Seriously, that is great looking pizza!!!! Have a great day Danica!
The pizza looks fabulous! I’m going to have to try grilling it. Now if only I had a Trader Joe’s near by.
I’ve never eaten or cooked grilled pizza before, but after seeing this I’m going to tell my boyfriend to fire up the grill! Looks great!! 🙂
Guess what–I had eaten about half of the jar of Biscoff you got me in Nov and the other day Marshall discovered how delicious it is. And now? IT IS GONE. Haha.. in like 3 days flat he polished it off! I found out a place around me sells it, though, so no need to go to San Fran–although I would like an excuse to go! xoxo
Yes! Tracey is looking awesome! I agree!
you know, I have never made grilled pizza, but I have all the things required so I just might have to give it a go sometime! Looks amazing! You just can’t go wrong with that premade dough from TJ’s!
You’ve inspired me once again! I must try this. Trader Joe’s crust is so good and so convenient, too.
The TJ’s whole wheat pizza crust is excellent too! Love it grilled with pesto instead of tomato sauce and tons of veggies!
Last night, I had my husband stop by our local grocery store on our way home so I could pick up a jar of Biscoff’s. LOVE!!!!! (I don’t think I’ll be able to keep this around the house because I could take a spoon to it and finish it all!)
Thanks a bunch! I’ve discovered so many awesome new recipes/meal ideas/products from reading your blog. You’re awesome to take the time to share!!
Thanks!!!
I’ve never seen anyone use a stone on the grill… and I can’t tell you how excited I am to try this?!?! I thought you had to put the dough right onto the grate and that’s what kept me from doing it all this time. I just felt like it would get burned or get stuck between the grates and didn’t bother. I am going to have to try this method asap!
Never thought of actually putting Biscoff spread on a Biscoff cookie! That would put me into a Biscoff coma! Love it and will have to try it myself!
I’ve wanted to try making grilled pizza forever!! I bought a pizza peel last weekend and just tried it tonight. Yum!! We still had some problems getting the pizza onto to stone with the peel, but I’m sure that’s because we’re newbies. I made my husband shake his booty too. 🙂
Hi Sarah,
You can get the Biscoff spread anytime online with their flat rate shipping of $5 for your order. I have found it in Whole Foods as well as a local grocery store (Raley’s.). They told me that they are working at putting it in stores so you can check their website to see if a store near you has it. http://www.biscoff.com. If you live near San Francisco, they have Biscoff store on Pier 39.
I LOVEEEEE the crockpot split pea soup. It’s so easy to make and absolutely delicious.
Danica
Hi Janece,
Yup ~ she lightened her hair for the first time ever going a little blond. I think it looks awesome.
