Happy Sunday all! My weekend flew by way too fast – a sign of a great weekend, I guess lol. We had fun Saturday finishing up most of our Christmas shopping and eating homemade Turkish food at our friends. Today I baked up a bunch of treats to give to my coworkers.
Breakfast involved a scrambled egg with a Trader Joe’s hash brown patty fried in 1 tsp avocado oil (5 sp).We grabbed Starbucks on our way to meet one of The Husband’s friends.
Tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel drizzle on the foam (2 sp).We had lunch at Buckhorn Grill and I got my usual.
Yik Yak Salad with chicken and dressing on the side (5 sp).I started my baking extravaganza with Saltine Toffee. I followed this recipe but used milk chocolate, roasted walnuts and a light sprinkle of sea salt.The Husband’s request (to make extra lol)…Snicker Surprise Cookies.
Peanut butter cookies stuffed with Snickers then topped with frosting & sprinkles.I got to use my new super mini loaf pans (12 loaves per pan) to make 36 mini Coconut Pound Cakes.Then to balance out all that sweetness, tons of Homemade Chex Mix.I actually did really good not eating everything and in fact I wasn’t tempted really. The Husband was my taste tester but I tasted too so I am counting 10 Smartpoints for good measure.
I was so glad for leftovers for dinner. We had the last of our Sloppy Joe Casserole (10 sp).31 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 10K steps
