How many almonds for 1 point?

August 9, 2018 by DanicasDaily Leave a Comment

Happy Friday Eve all! I am actually so ready for the weekend to start, but, at the same time not as I have so much to do still.  It’s been such a fun work week.

I truly loved heading out to our fields and helping harvest food for a cause. I learned picking cucumbers is so much harder than melons (think lots of squats!) I lost my Fitbit in the fields but a group of coworkers actually helped me find it – Lucky! I totally snacked on a cucumber straight from the vine which I think made it taste even better.

The day also included a lunch and learn session where we had a speaker who gave great advice on how food impacts your mood.

The busy-ness continued today with all morning meetings with lunch out.

I was slow going this morning so I went for an easy breakfast. Sandwich Bros Turkey Sausage Egg White Flatbread (4 sp) and 1/2 a nectarine.I stopped for a little pick me up on my way – Grande iced nonfat half caffeine latte with caramel on top (3 sp).Lunch was at Skip’s Kitchen and it was so good! You know you ordered a good salad when you do not miss the burgers and fries all around you.

One ridiculously delicious Asian Chicken Salad (cabbage, carrots, red peppers, broccoli, red onion, Mandarin oranges, cashews, won tons, chicken & sesame dressing on the side) (5 SP)

My late afternoon started with a nectarine and Jarlsberg Mini Swiss cheese (2 sp). But, I was still hungry so I grabbed 1 Smartpoints worth of Salt N Vinegar Almonds. I actually learned after 8 almonds = 1 sp and wished I had one more lol.The Husband actually told me to order pizza tonight. But, I decided to keep us in check with a healthier pizza in.

While the Trader Joe’s Pepperoni Bambino’s cooked….I made this chopped salad with crunchy veggies, merlot red wine vinegar, olive oil, sea salt & black  pepper.10 Smartpoints for 15 minutes of cooking and this totally hit the spot.24 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 6K steps
