Hi all! How was your weekend? With Spring pretty much in full swing in California, we decided to plant our garden this weekend.
I was so excited to see two of our plants from last year are already “blooming”…is that what you call it?
Blueberries!Look at the baby grapes?! So cute! Here is what we planted this year in our garden box:
- Beefsteak tomatoes
- Roma tomatoes
- Yellow bell pepper
- Japanese cucumber
- Patty Pan Squash
- Lemon Thyme
- Sweet 100 cheery tomatoes
- Swiss Chard
Plus a Super Million cherry tomato in a pot. Then, in our house, I planted a mini herb garden. This Buzzy Organic Seed garden was so fun and easy to put together.
4 tins with seeds and soil.Put the 3 discs in a bowl with 3/4 cup Luke warm water and they soak it up in seconds.Fluff with a fork then add 3/4 of the soil to the time, sprinkle the seeds evenly and top with the remaining soil. Water and your done.
I put mine in alphabetical order so I know what is growing.Today we headed up the hill to Sutter Creek for an event for The Husband. The drive was absolutely beautiful and all the town’s were quaint and Western like. We stopped at this restaurant for lunch as it is named after him – Jamison’s. It was pretty tasty – no wine or beer!I alsoawhipped up a batch of these Southwest Egg Muffins for breakfast this week but added a salad to call it dinner tonight.B: At 6 am! Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Eggwich (7 sp), blueberries
S: For the drive – Tall Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (2 sp)
L: @Jamison’s Grilled chicken breast samdwsan topped with mushrooms & onions (4 sp) with a simple side salad (1 sp) and 1/2 cup beans (2 sp)
