Vegetable Gyoza w/Edamame Soycatash

March 3, 2009 by DanicasDaily 6 Comments

My breakfast did a fantastic job of holding me over all the way through lunch and our rainy 4.43 mile run outside. I am so glad we went on a run today because it definitely brightened my mood and turned my day around.

Last night I prepared my lunches for this week by making the Vegetarain Times Vegetable Gyoza with Edamame Soycastash. I wish they had their recipe posted on their site.

Veg. Times Vegetable Gyoza w/Edamame Soycatash

Included in this 15 minute or less meal was:

8 Trader Joe’s Vegetable Gyoza
1 package Trader Joe’s Frozen Edamame Soycatash
Green Onions
Cilantro (which I forgot)
And a chili sauce which included: Rice Wine Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, Chili Paste, Garlic

It tasted fantastic today since all the flavors marinated overnight. It makes up 4 dishes, I had one today, gave away one and have 2 left – so excited.

I paired it up with a big organic fuji apple and a handful of organic pretzels (not pictured):

I was content after eating this but I knew I’d be hungry for an afternoon snack. My snack today was a banana with blueberries, strawberries, almond butter and a drizzle of honey – soooo good! I only wish I remembered something to throw on there for crunch.

I have to say that in my opinion there is not a better almond butter than the freshly ground organic almonds that you make at Whole Foods. I have a fun new dinner recipe planned for tonight and of course it’s Biggest Loser night – woohoo! See ya’all later :D!

D- There are so many words in that post, that I have never heard before: Gyoza? Soycastash? Anyhow, the photos made it look so good. I’m adding to my list for next week.

Sara! Hi! I don’t know what’s going on with my blog. I’ll try to figure it out…ARG.

Sminnik ~ it’s one of my favorite ways to have bananas and almond butter. I will pass your message onto Kirwin.

Kirwin ~ This meal is worth branching out for. I am pretty sure you will love it.
