Hi all! How was your Super Bowl weekend? Our weekend was good and I did a pretty decent job keeping my Super Bowl eats in check.
Breakfast was super tasty. I chopped up one Aidell’s Spicy Mango Chicken Sausage and scrambled it with 4 eggs. 1/2 for me (3 sp) and the other half for The Husband plus berries.I really wanted a cappuccino so we ventured out in the rain for it (2 sp).I bought this Trader Joe’s Organic Delicata Squash awhile back thinking it would be a great zero point addition to one of my meals.
What I’ve learned is that I think I like fresh veggies frozen as the texture and flavor are so much better.I sauteed the squash with 1 tsp olive oil, thyme, an Aidell’s Spicy Mango Sausage, sea salt and pepper.Topped with a bit of sriracha for 7 Smartpoints.I had half this super sweet Sumo orange for dessert.
Pre Super Bowl Snack – banana plus one Tbsp pistachios (1 sp).I somehow only captured my slice of Mary’s Pizza Shack Toto’s Pizza (8 sp) and missed my plate of salad with ranch (2 sp).23 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 7K steps
