I know they say What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas….but, if you all have any fun ideas or great places to eat, share them below so we can all make sure to try them out!
Thanks everyone for coming along for the ride on our MINI Vegas Vacation. It was a nice break, but, I am definitely ready to get back to posting my daily eats and get back in the kitchen.
See you all tomorrow with my daily eats ~ it’s going to be on deliciously healthy day.
Night all!
If you rent a car you have to drive out to Red Rock Canyon. Oh boy is it ever gorgeous. And not that far, maybe 20 mins if I remember.
I agree with Amy. We rented a car and drove to Red Rock Canyon for a day trip. GREAT hiking and beautiful view of LV strip off in the distance. My favorite thing to do in LV!!!!
Oh man carnival court….I didn’t realize the drinks are extra extra strong because they don’t measure when they’re flair bartending. Yeah I got plastered that night, lol!
Thank you so much! Perfect timing, we leave on Mon.
And I did check and there is a Trader Joes about 9 miles from the strip so I will finally get to go! Now I have to search for your list of things you buy there!!
I went to Vegas a couple times in high school with my parents (as part of business trips), but haven’t been back since. I’d love to explore the city now that I am of age!
Love Vegas, but haven’t been in a couple of years. Where are the 3 for $54 shows located? We saw Bodies at the Tropicana, but those other shows weren’t there at that time.
My favorite show is LOVE……love it!
Hi Judi,
We bought the 3 pass tickets at Mandalay Bay, but, the exhibits are at several hotels and you can go anytime you want.

Awwweessome list, thank you so much! I LOVE shows when I go, because I can only gamble and lay out by the pool for so many days (we usually go for a week).
for some odd reason I too love me ALL ALL ALL THINGS VEGAS.
Ive not been in far too long….
We love Vegas and try to go every couple of years. I am keeping your list of places, shows and restaurants to go….all new to us! I feel a Vegas trip in my near future!!

I would add hiking at Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire State Park. Both are just 45 minutes outside of Vegas, but you’ll feel like you’re in a different world. If only time to do one, go for Valley of Fire – it’s truly indescribable.
Don’t forget to stop by the MGM Grand to see the lions…
HI Cheryl,
They took the lions away in January this year – so sad 🙁

The Pinball Hall of Fame is a good time. You can play pinball and video games for hours for a little money, and the proceeds go to the Salvation Army.
We have plans to go in june for 3 days. My boys are ages 16 and 7 and they have never been there. What can you reasonably suggest for Them. Thank you.
The garden at the mirage:) love seeing the tigers and the dolphins. And love Burger Bar in between Mandalay Bay and the luxor I believe. Amazing food! And definitely recommend the Mob Experience its really cool and fun to role play
My hubby and I are thinking of going to Las Vegas in May. I am a huge Elvis fan. any suggestions what to do over 4days would be appreciated.
Cheers
