Banana-wich

May 2, 2012 by DanicasDaily 7 Comments

Happy Wednesday all!  Thanks for sharing all your thoughts on this season’s Biggest Loser. I have been so conflicted on if I wanted to go back and watch it all or not since I felt like I was missing out.  However, I think the general consensus was to pass on this season for sure.

This morning I was so excited about my 5 minute Cheesy Sausage Breakfast Burritos that I never took a picture.  It’s just that good! (6 points+).

During our break from our morning meetings, my co-workers and I stopped by the café for snack time and coffee.  I am completely IN LOVE with these cheese & grape grab-n-go containers.

Real Deal Cheese with 1 cup of grapes (3 points+)

I actually pondered last night if there was a way I could somehow bring my Slow Cooker Baked Bean Nachos to our working lunch meeting.  After a lot of pondering, I realized I may not be taken too seriously licking my fingers and crunching away.

So, I took the safe route.  I started with a new bread ~ Orowheat 3-Seeded Bread ~ 2 slices for 5 points+.

Then, I layered on 2 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter (5 points+)

And banana “chips”

For one delicious Banana-Wich….

I have absolutely NO IDEA how I am going to make lunch work tomorrow because the 30 minutes I have will be spent driving to a work Open House….I might just have to do an entire grab n go on the go LOL…..Any ideas are welcome!

I snacked on a cheese stick on my ride home (1 points+).  As soon as I walked in the door, I started on dinner.

BBQ Chicken x’s 2 (5 points+)

Alexia Sweet Potato Puffs (3 points+)

Green Beans seasoned with butter, garlic salt and pepper (1 points+)

Today was a rest day since I’ve worked out 3 times so far this week.  I still chalked up some steps walking to and from the train.  There is definitely something to be said for building your workout into your day and it shows.

Stats (12 am – 8 pm)

  • calories burned 2,434
  • steps taken 9,943
  • 29 daily points+

The Farmer’s Market is back in town tomorrow ~ I am so excited!!! I feel like it has been such a long winter waiting for the season to start.

Night all!

Banana wiches are so good. I love them with almond butter. So excited that the farmers markets will be back soon too. Bring on the warm weather and local harvest.

PB + banana sandwiches remind me of childhood so much 🙂 They’re even better grilled/ toasted!

    but expensive
I love the subway veggie I sometimes buy the foot long and eat one half for breakfast and the other half for lunch. They will not let me buy their bread. durn I know each half of this is 6 points but I could reduce it because I could use fat free cheese , If any one knows of low fat/ low carb sub buns that woud be nice.
