Happy Wednesday all! Do you ever have ‘little things’ that make you happy? Today I put up new window clings in my office and it totally makes me smile when my coworkers comment on them.
- My office mate: Oh, we are getting new window clings today! Yep (with a big grin!)
- You hung up a rainbow – yep, I didn’t realize that but I like rainbows.
- Why be awesome just today? What about tomorrow?! I told him to come back tomorrow and be awesome then too.
Honestly though, I love the fact that it makes me smile every time I look out my window and it reminds me that today is going to be a good day.This morning I was up early to get in my Start To Run Week 4, Day 2 workout that went like this:
5 minute walking warm up
Jog 2 minutes, walk 2 minutes
Jog 2 minutes, jog 1 X’s 7
5 minute walking cool down
It was tough but totally manageable and it definitely set the tone for the day as I felt great all day. I was spoiled a bit by The Husband today who cooked both breakfast and dinner. I did make this delicious lunch that was so easy and healthy.
Daily Snap Recap:B: 2 egg scramble, watermelon
S: Tall iced nonfat latte with caramel on top (2 sp)
L: Cucumber, tomato, avocado salad ( 1 cucumber, 2 tomatoes, 1/2 California Haas avocado, 1 tsp olive oil, 2 tsp apple cider vinegar, salt & pepper) – 5 sp, hard boiled egg, lite string cheese (2 sp)
S: I walked to Starbucks for extra steps and to get this Tall iced Strawberry Acai (4 sp)
S2: an hour later I was still hungry so I had a banana plus 10 almonds (2 sp)
D: 3 oz BBQ pork ribs (4 sp), corn on the cob, 1 slice kalamata olive bread (3 sp)

I have to confess I am eyeng his BBQ chips and I am not sure they will make it thru the night.
