Hi all! How was your Tuesday? My day was long with early AM meetings before my training started and a bit of work after. I honestly really struggle to make the “healthy” choice and not eat everything in training.
But, today, I decided I am going to be “That Girl”. You know her, she is the one who:
- Skips the pastries because she had breakfast
- Picks the Smart lunch box and doesn’t eat dessert
- That picks the fruit instead of cookies, granola bars, chips, etc. resisting all the treats not feeling like she missed out.
And, you know what – it worked!
Breakfast was totally made on the run as I had to leave at 6 am. I packed up my sausage eggwich and hit the road. (4 sp).I got the “big” cappuccino to get me through my day.
Grande nonfat cappuccino with caramel on the top (3 sp).For today’s lunch, we had our choice of Panera lunch boxes. This is my least favorite thing as they are so high in points and not really worth it. But, today, I was the low carb girl.
I saw the salad boxes and picked the half Spicy Thai Chicken salad (4 sp with the baguette (4 sp).
And, tossed the big chocolate chip cookie – better in the trash than on my ###! 😀Late afternoon, I was hungry so I grabbed 10 almonds (2 sp) plus 2 cuties. An hour later, I snacked on an apple.I felt so proud of myself leaving the room as I headed back to my desk to work.
By the time I walked in the door at 7:30pm, I was starving and so happy we had leftovers for a fast dinner.

2 more days of training and tomorrow we have a team dinner. I plan on being “That Girl” all day long.
