Cookies for Breakfast!

November 18, 2010 by DanicasDaily 13 Comments

I should probably not be left alone in a room with THIS MANY dough ball cookies from Annie The Baker.  Annie The Baker

I mean there is only so much control a girl can have….

Cookie Dough Cookies

If you all went to the Foodbuzz Festival, then, you know EXACTLY what I am talking about….but, just in case you didn’t, let me just tell you a little about what I am talking about.

One of my FAVORITE reasons for going to the Napa Farmer’s Market is because Annie The Baker is there!  She honestly makes the BEST COOKIES I’ve ever had in my life!

Rainbow Sprinkles Sugar Cookie ~ My FAVORITE & I don’t share it :D !

The best sugar cookie you'll ever eat

Doodle Snicker ~ I LOVE how she uses Turbinado Sugar.

Snicker Doodles!!

Guittard Cocoa Dough plus Milk & Dark Chocolate Chips called Cocoa Loco.

Cocoa Loco

Chocolate Chunk ~ need I say more?!

Chocolate Chunk

And these are only just a few of the cookies I bought to share 😀Annie The Baker Cookies

You see, “almost” all of these are spoken for since Melissa and Amanda wanted me to send some cookie dough ball love their way.

Doughball cookies

Don’t worry though, I at least made sure I ate my healthy fiberrific cereal FIRST before I dug into this beauty (4 pts).

Side NOTE ~ Did you all know she is on TWITTER & FACEBOOK? Follow & Like her because her pictures will make you drool and you never know what deal she might give out for some cookies! ;)

Soooooo….moving on to what I ACTUALLY started out my breakfast with LOL.  The folks over at Fiber One asked me to give their new Honey Clusters Cereal a try.

Fiber One Honey Clusters

3 points a cup – not bad.

Fiber One Honey Clusters nutritional informationFiber One Honey Clusters ingredients

I like fiber, I like flakes, I like honey…..

Honey Cluster Cereal

Served up with fat free milk & a banana (6 pts) – it was a nice change from my usual protein packed breakfasts.

Cereal with banana

My only problem with cerel though is it never holds me over for long – so I had to HAVE the cookie, you see 😀

Lunch was delicious and totally hit the spot even though it’s totally sunny and in the 70s-80s out here.  Creamy Butternut Squash Soup with red pepper flakes, pumpkin seed croutons and crushed red pepper flakes for a little heat (2 pts)

Butternut Squash Soup

8 Thanksgiving in a ball turkey meatballs topped with crushed red pepper flakes – sweet and spicy and so completely good. (5 pts).

Turkey Meatballs

COOL, fun fact ~ I WON one of the GRAND PRIZES for the Better for you Holiday ~ Taste and Tweet that I made these meatballs for on Monday 😀

Meatballs & Soup

Mid afternoon snacks (4 pts) – what can I say….I was hungry, it was a higher point day….so glad for the extra Weekly Points Allowance!

Stacy's Pita Chips

I came home to find The Husband hard at work installing our “GREEN” artificial grass.  I am so excited about this upgrade to our lawn ~ it’s eco-friendly and will save on water!

I LOVE how cute his little bobcat is….oh and he is too 😉

Mini Bobcat

Dinner was not part of the plan and put together on the fly because I had my hair appointment tonight.

Little buckets of cheesy goodness!

I LOVE Annie’s Shells & aged Wisconsin Cheddar (the orange box) ~ The Husband’s favorite is the white shells…..I eat it all 🙂 (6 pts)

I did take my hair dresser her usual Starbuck’s and  we gabbed the night away.

The End!

Those cookies are killing me! I’d also love the rainbow sprinkles or the Doodle one.

I was a wreck on cereal. I’d be shaky and hungry by 10 am. I’m that sensitive to the sugar. I have to have some protein at breakfast though oats with no added sugar can also get me through.

Can’t wait to see how your lawn turns out. We were going to put veg beds in the front but you should have seen our real estate agent’s face when I told her that!
