Happy Tuesday all! Today is a day I’ve been waiting for all year – Farmer’s Market season has officially begun. It’s seriously one of my favorite times of the year. Bye bye apples, pears and oranges, hello fresh berries, nectarines, pluots, watermelon. Ok, I might be a little ahead of myself but I’m just so excited for some delicious new farm to table produce.
The other really cool thing – our garden is growing.
Our first tomato is one the vine from our Early Girl plant.
And check out how huge my cilantro is already….Must make some recipes with it. Any ideas???
The Husband told me yesterday we needed to have a breakfast repeat today so we did. My lunch was so simple but really tasty. My sis gave me 3 types of lettuce from her garden (she is an awesome gardener) that I used to build my simple chef salad. I paired it with some pita chips and habanero lime hummus I bought at the farmers market from The Hummus Guy.
Dinner definitely hit the spot and I’d definitely make this easy Sausage, Broccoli, Pesto Pasta again.

B: 1 scrambled egg (2 SP), 1 Trader Joe’s Sweet Maple Chicken Apple Sausage (4 SP), 1 cup watermelon
S: Tall Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (2 SP), banana
L: “Simple Chef Salad” (2 1/2 cups mixed lettuce, carrots, cabbage, 3 Tbsp Chickpeas, sweet bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, 2 oz honey ham, 1 slice Pepperjack cheese, sprinkle of oregano, 2 Tbsp Newman’s Lite Lime Vinaigrette) – 8 SP, 6 Pita chips with 2 Tbsp hummus (4 SP)
S: 1 piece Jamaican Chocolate with coffee (2 SP)
S2: While dinner cooked I devoured a few strawberries from the market.
D: 1 cup Sausage, Broccoli, Pesto Pasta (8 SP), 1 1/2 cups Tossed Salad with evoo & red wine vinegar (2 SP)

It’s actually a spin on this recipe (it was the pesto that sold me on it) https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes/uk-orecchiette-herbed-pork-56fa871df8b25eab378b4567 but I totally want to try the one in the Weight Watchers magazine.
