Hi all! This week is all about making smart choices and balancing it out. I have 4 work lunches out and a plan in my head to succeed this week. My goal is to not head to lunch starving – have a snack first if necessary so I can be rationale in front of a menu and to focus on salads that get me excited and not feel all “diety” so I don’t have food envy at what everyone else orders.
Today marks day 1 and here is what I’m proud of….
* Breakfast was amazing! As in so delicious I need to repeat it.
* Lunch is a perfect way of how salads aren’t always the lowest point options, however, this is my favorite one and I’ll choose it, count it and feel good about that all day long.
* I didn’t plan on working late but did. I was starving when I sat down for dinner at 9 pm but found a great low point option in the freezer to balance out my higher point lunch. I also didn’t snack while waiting for it to heat up.
* I didn’t have a single cookie or mini muffin today.

B: 1 egg & scallion scramble (2 SP), 2 Aidells Chicken Apple Breakfast Sausages on top of a Mini Krusteaz Flapjack with a 1 tsp drizzle pure maple syrup – so, so good when rolled up! (4 SP), 1/2 cup grapes & berries
S: Tall Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (2 SP)
L: @Napa Valley General Store – 1 Fresh Champagne Poached Shrimp Spring Roll (2 SP), Vietnamese Salad (Greens & carrots topped w 2 oz rice noodles, 2 Tbsp peanuts, 1/4 c crunchy onions, 4 grilled shrimp with big cucumber spears topped with a sweet & spicy soy sauce plus 1 mini fried pork roll (16 SP) and worth every single one!
S: banana, light string cheese (2 SP)
D: From the freezer – Butternut Squash, Sausage & Kale Soup (3 SP), Nectarine with a few grapes
