Daily Snap: Why you should cook

Happy Monday all! Today started out on a great note despite having my first meeting at 7am. I made a healthy breakfast, packed my lunch plus snacks. I even got in a nice 4 mile walk. I left work feeling proud and not starving.

The Husband let’s me know that they are working late and will pick up dinner on the drive home.

My first thought – Yay, I do not have to cook.

My second thought – what should I make just for me? I always have so many ideas and I feel proud it never occurred to get take out until now.

My third thought – I’ll eat cheese and crackers while I think about it.

And that is where my evening went a bit astray as I was still hungry and had chips too. Counted it, moved on and told myself, next time, just make a real meal already lol.

Daily Snap Recap:B: Sandwich Bros Turkey Sausage, Egg White Flatbread (4 sp), cherries

S: Banana, Jarlsberg Mini Swiss cheese (2 sp)

L: 1 1/2 cups Italian Tortellini Pasta Salad (9 sp), 1 cup watermelon

S: 13 Blue Diamond salt & vinegar almonds (2 sp), nectarine

D: 8 Trader Joe’s Social Crackers (4 sp), Jarlsberg Mini Swiss cheese (2 sp), nectarine, 1 oz BBQ Chips (5 sp)
