Happy Wednesday all! Thanks for sharing all of your “Must-See TV” shows for this fall and what you all are thinking about the “new” Biggest Loser. I honestly have “missed” Fall Shows (ok, here, I am going to “date myself” since Friends and Will & Grace went off the air….ohhhh and maybe Melrose Place and the original 90210. I used to totally look forward to those shows all week long. Grey’s Anatomy & for a little while Desperate Housewives entertained me, but, then, they got all serious and now I pretty much just watch Biggest Loser and anything on Food Network LOL.
I have to say I agree with you all ~ the guy new trainer isn’t bad ~ he seems like the real deal and knows what he is actually doing. Anna….while she seems like a nice girl and all, I just didn’t dig her not encouraging people on their weight loss ~ ANY LOSS in my book is good and “going longer” isn’t always the answer. Hopefully she will get better as the show goes on. I do LOVE the contestants this season and hopefully all that “drama” & “game play” they showed in the previews is just for show. I have watched Biggest Loser since the first season and my favorite seasons are when it’s about individual success stories/weight loss, not about “playing the game”.
Ok….soap box over (gahhhhh ~ I want to insert a smiley here LOL).
This morning started off with my usual “Egg-Wich” when The Husband mentioned doing something a little different……
Why not add some of that Trader Joe’s Peppered Turkey Bacon…..ummmm, ok!!!
Enter my 7 points+ BACONWICH that was freakin’ amazing!
I wasn’t “brave enough” to add jam to my bacon-wich, but, keeping the yolk a little runny made this my favorite new sandwich over my sausage-wich.
We spent the morning running around, checking things off our todo list’s & shopping a bit. I wasn’t super ready for lunch and honestly wanted my soup, but, The Husband said he was ready for lunch. We ended up a Rubio’s Mexican Grill.
I opted for their Health Mex Grilled Ono Fish Tacos because they had the LOWEST calories listed on the menu and they sounded tasty.. I LOVE that places put calories up now..
Grilled Ono topped with our roasted chipotle salsa and cabbage. Served on a stone-ground corn
I was totally right ~ It was 4 points+ for 1 taco & 7 points+ for two….I LOVE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!
I LOVED them too ~ they are not fishy at all ~ dare I say, they taste like chicken LOL. I added jalapeno slices and salsa for extra heat that went well with the cool cabbage & sweet corn.
The only downfall ~ if you eat all the chips & beans, it’s 16 points+. I kept 5 chips and tossed the rest on The Husband’s plate because I knew I’d eat them. I did eat my beans because they were only 2 points+.
I totally planned our dinner around having a BIG salad like yesterday. I actually used a jarred 4 bean salad, but, I have a recipe I need to make to share with you all. (2 points+)
The Husband made Trader Joe’s Baked Beans ~ he is HILARIOUS….his “secret” was adding a little BBQ sauce and mustard lol. I had to try them out since he went through all that effort.
1/4 cup = 1 points+
Served up with delicious grilled corn (2 points+) and 2 oz boneless pork rib (2 points+)
I am getting a little hungry now so I see a string cheese with a big bowl of melon & pineapple in my future.

What is one thing you are looking forward to this fall?
Ok, don’t laugh, but, aside from my new job and our November anniversary vacation….I LOVE all the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff. From the decorations to the celebrations, it’s one of my FAVORITE times of year….I could spend HOURS just walking around the stores looking at stuff….Oh and I LOVE soup season plus all things cinnamon.
Night all!

I just ran across your blog a couple weeks ago and have been following ever since. My family belongs to a CSA and I was looking for a way to eat the kale and found your blog on WW Kale with Bacon and Cannellini Beans. You are right, it is delicious and filling!
I LOVE that you are a foodie on a WW journey and have been totally inspired by your words and photos! I have made pumpkin butter (Mmmm!) and have been putting 3bean salad on my salads in this last week. Thank you for blogging; you have given me that extra “push” in my own journey!!
As far as autumn goes, I love everything about it! Chili, soup, apples, hoodies, pretty trees and especially pumpkin everything!

I love fall time. It is my favorite time of the year. Most of the time I hate living in Ohio because of the yucky weather but I love the fall here with all the leaves changing and cool crisp air that comes along. (can’t stand snow and winter though).
Having 3 little ones at home I definitely look forward to the holidays as well. I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by though. Before you know it, the holidays will be here.

I’m looking forward to our “Fall Foliage” cruise from Manhattan to Nova Scotia – we leave in 9 days and it will be my husband’s first cruise – so excited (and yes, I’m bringing my WW tracker with me – I’m only 4.4 pounds from goal and I’m not planning on blowing it now).
Football & ice hockey season, soup, leaves turning color, and breaking out the bread machine are all great fall events!

I love the Fall Season, cooler weather a crispness in the air that only happens in the Fall but still the afternoons are warm, hot even. Fall colors, the change in seasonal foods, love baking in the Fall, even cooking more stews, braises and of of course home made soups. Fall is the start of a new set of holidays….all around family and food, getting together, celebrating, sharing food, wine, love and mostly laughter.
I am really ready for Fall….can you tell?

How do you make your eggs so perfectly? I keep trying and it never looks like yours!
DanicasDaily says
HI CC,
The secret to making your “fried eggs” perfect is to use nonstick spray and to cook them at a low temperature. Here is a post I did on how I make my egg-wiches, hopefully that helps a bit.

Okay, Melrose and the original 90210 were my favorites too…and Friends of course. Have you tried The Vampire Diaries? It was the new show I tried last fall and now my husband and I are both addicted…really dark and fun characters. I can’t watch BL without Jillian. Not even going to try. Love your blog, Danica!!
