Hi all! How was your day? My day was pretty good as I got in an hour long power chatting walk with my friend and I think I might be out of my food rut loving salads again. I feel like the past few weeks I haven’t wanted any veggies, fruit or salads but I’ve eaten them as I knew it was the “right” choice. I don’t know why some weeks I am so excited about everything we have planned to eat and other weeks nothing sounds good.
Maybe my fake until I make and it becomes a Habit it has paid off. I am hoping my food motivation is back to stay along with all the sunshine we’ve had lately.
I kicked off my day with a Healthy Eggroll and berries (3 sp).I picked up liquid motivation along the way with a tall nonfat cappuccino (2 sp).I stopped at the Nugget salad bar (it’s like Whole Foods) to build a salad on my way back to work after my lunchtime walk.Here is what is in my box:
- Romaine/Kale blend
- Carrots, peas, corn, green onions, bell pepper, tomatoes
- Egg and chicken
- 1 Tbsp cheese (1 sp)
- 1 Tbsp sunflower seeds (1 sp)
- 1 Tbsp bacon (1 Tbsp)
- 2 Tbsp ranch on the side (4 sp)
It totally hit the spot and I ate it all. I did snack on some Trader Joe’s cashews in the afternoon (3 sp).
The Husband really wanted Habit Burger tonight so I gave in. I actually had burger envy a bit but I made up for it by stealing a few of his sides – so worth it! 4 spThis Southwestern BBQ Chicken salad was fun to eat with all the flavors and textures. Look at all the zero point options meaning it’s just the bacon, cheese and sauce/dressing to count.
