Happy Hump Day all! Today was AMAZING outside – it’s my ideal, perfect weather…in the 70’s, sunny with a light breeze. I LOVE spring and fall….oh and the Farmer’s Markets that start tomorrow!!! 😀
My meeting was pretty eventful tonight. I was up 1 lb, but, it was sort of expected since I haven’t done a great job balancing my fruits/veggies with my doughy carbs. This week I am definitely getting back to that!
I wasn’t really hungry for breakfast this morning but I made sure to have a little protein and a little carbs in my Iced Venti Decaf Latte (3 pts).
I never ended up having breakfast and instead jumped right to my mid morning snack of WATERMELON…..I LOVE watermelon! I totally makes me think of summer and BBQs. My entire two cup bowl was 2 pts.
Plus a little Cabot to add protein staying power (1 pt).
Lunch was a simple, but, tasty salad from Gillwood’s Cafe…I was quick to trade in my lunch at the chance to eat outside and chat it up again with my friend 🙂
3 cups Romaine
1/4 chopped fuji apple
2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
2 oz grilled chicken
2 Tbsp Fat Free Raspberry Walnut dressing
5 points of deliciousness! I MUST recreate this salad!
Having a light lunch salad totally left me with room for Free Waffle Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s….ummmm, the most important part!
I requested 1 scoop of the Berry Berry Sorbet and it was HUGE, but, worth every bite. I pretty much ate the entire thing and pondered licking the wrapper :D….. 6 pt estimate
I needed to get my Cinco De Mayo for the day…..so dinner was 2 Spicy Chicken Tacos from Vasquez for 8 pts…. <3
After our quick fiesta, I dropped The Husband off to play poker and made a quick stop at Starbuck’s to pick up lattes for my hair dresser and I. I actually really thought I’d get an iced tea, but, when it came down to it, I went with what I really wanted….a tall ff, decaf latte with caramel drizzle (2 pts). I may or may not have bought my hair dresser one of their cupcakes and had a little 😉

I have been making iced coffess and iced teas almost everyday now…I am thinking of getting one of those cups 🙂 The thing is I LOVE color, so I always buy whatever new tumblers they have at starbucks and use those! haha…my husband doesnt really like the collection that is piling up in the cupboard!

Wow that salad just looks amazing! And I am so happy with it getting warmer out, I love love love iced coffee. However, I am looking forward to winter because I love their red cups. Now if they only had red cold cups–that would be saucy!
I keep meaning to grab a re-usable cup but haven’t had. I don’t know why though since I feel like I live at Starbucks since there is one in my bldg at work and one less then 900 feet from my apt (and yes I was bored one day and counted lol)
