Hi all! How was your weekend? I can say after a whirlwind week back at work, I was definitely ready to head out for a walk to clear my head and catch up on some R&R this weekend. It was really great to go back to my Weight Watchers meeting as I feel like it always centers me and resets my motivation. I’m happy that I was only up .8 of a lb after our two week eating adventure. After my meeting, I stocked up on probably way too much produce but it was the last farmers of the year by our house so I just “had” to visit everyone lol.
Next on my list was looping the lagoon with a 2 mile walk.Every now and then I get in my head I want to try frozen meals. Sometimes it works out and other times I’m reminded of how much better things taste when you make them yourself. I tried two of the Weight Watchers breakfasts this weekend. I liked the roll ups but I have to say the Eggwich made me wonder what exactly I was eating.
We both had to work on Saturday so I was free to indulge in my fall pumpkiny goodness with Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Soup with Pumpkin Crackers – loved both.
Dinner was a delicious Pepper Chicken Spinach Pasta from our Blue Apron box.

One thing that made me super happy this weekend – finding 1 Smartpoint cheese balls!I seriously love cheese balls but rarely buy them because well I’ll eat them all and not share. You actually get about 20 mini balls in each bag and guess what?? It’s still only 1 Smartpoint per bag when you have 4 bags…just sayin’.This morning we were up way too early to head to the Sacramento Antique Fair. On our way back into town, we stopped at Habit Burger. I got their new Grilled Bourbon Chicken Sandwich sans Mayo, lettuce wrapped with a side salad – no fries! This might be my new go to and I didn’t miss having fries!
Dinner was another Blue Apron Meal that I had 1/4 of. I absolutely the apple slaw and will make it again. It was simply cabbage, Apple, 2 Tbsp mayo, 2Tbsp rice vinegar, 1 Tbsp sugar, salt & pepper.
I’ll be giving away 5 Blue Apron Boxes later this week when I cook up our last meal.
