Happy Friday all! There is something to be said about having your first week back to work be a two day week. I have had such a fun filled two days. I knew the company I work for is cool, but, honestly I did not know how cool until now.
Did you know today it’s National Employee Appreciation Day?! I didn’t either until we got a very nice email followed up with a group meeting, speech from our global CEO complete with personal handshakes and food with words on it.
I am going to be in so much trouble as we have an espresso machine…my beverage choice with my Krispy Kreme donut holes (two for 3 sp).I have been spoiled with gifts from everyone at the company too. A backpack, laptop carrying case, business card holder, pen, leather journal and this coffee cup from my boss.?They truly do so much to appreciate their employees. I am doing a scavenger hunt to get $ off my monthly benefits and I am totally joining the step challenge this summer where you compete for prizes.
My favorite places in the office so far are the “rooms” our communications department designed – each with a specific meaning to the company.We also have quiet rooms and an”open air” conference room – pretty fun, right?!My screen background actually makes me smile every time I open my computer to see this or read one of the fun facts or slogans like “from earth to life”.Thank you all for the congrats and well wishes on my new gig. I survived my first week and couldn’t be more excited about the company, the people, my boss and team.
I did manage to get up this morning and knock out my C25K 4.3 jog/walk before work.
Breakfast was a fast Healthy Eggroll with a cutie for 3 sp.I did pick up a tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel on top for my drive in. (2 sp).
My lunch was a repeat of what I had earlier this week.
Buffalo chicken, 1 Tbsp pistachios, Banana Berry Muffin and an apple for 5 sp.Late afternoon snack – banana and a Jarlsberg Mini Swiss cheese (2 sp).All day, I’ve been hungry and honestly I couldn’t wait to get home to eat lol. This was my I need to eat right now meal.
2 scrambled eggs, 1 roasted garlic mozzarella chicken sausage (4 sp) and 1 Svg Ore Ida shredded hash browns “fried” in 1 tap avocado oil (3 sp).22 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 13K steps
