#FlashbackFriday Happy Weekend All! Whether you are driving to visit family or friends or hosting the festivities for everyone at your house, here are a few ideas for Soups, Salads, Sides and Desserts that you could serve up this Thanksgiving and still keep your points budget in tact. I always like bringing at least one healthy, points friendly dish that I know I’ll enjoy to our holiday parties.
Fill up on a soup and salad starter, then, pile on the lean turkey and healthy vegetable sides making a little room for “treats” like stuffing on the side.
I cannot wait to see what we have for our Jamaican Thanksgiving, but, I know it’s going to be a fun to try it all. I am pretty sure I will be making some of these Thanksgiving Day sides for Christmas this year since I’ve been dreaming about them all the way to Jamaica.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving Day?
I am definitely all about the stuffing, brussels sprouts and green beans with BACON!
Have a fantastic Holiday everyone!

Stuffing is my favorite! And homemade egg noodles. Yum! We never have brussel sprouts at Thanksgiving, but I think we will this year and try your recipe.
Have a wonderful holiday and trip Danica!

I have to admit my favourite holiday foods are turkey, stuffing, brussels sprouts(in England we always eat these at Christmas), home made cranberry sauce and only now and then sticky toffee pudding 🙂
Life's a Bowl says
Sausage-pear stuffing is my favorite 🙂 We also serve cranberry-orange compote and green beans with balsamic shallots and bacon! And this year I’m thinking mini pumpkin pies, a lot from your list!

I’m all about the stuffing and sweet potatoes but I think your honey balsamic roasted brussels sprouts might be added to my list!! Have a wonderful vacation.
