Happy Almost Weekend all! This morning I woke up feeling refreshed and glad that the weekend is almost here. Then again, I am sure having a 1/2 day of work and then an extended weekend can make you instantly smile when you wake up š
Lately I have only wanted simple things for breakfast and today was no exception. I started off with a Thomas Double Fiber English muffin topped with The Bees Knees (Honey Peanut Butter). I think I could eat this combo EVERY day if you all wouldnāt get tired of seeing the same thing LOL.
I had a āsugar spottedā white nectarine that was so sweet it honestly tasted like candy. Who needs jelly when you have fruit that taste this good.
On the side I had a BIG cup of Starbuckās decaf coffee (3/4 coffee, 1/4 hot water). I had an interesting conversation with my co-worker today about decaf coffee and the chemicals used to make it. I do my best to stay away from as many chemicals as I can ~ I buy organic decaf coffee and do not use the bleached white filters (in fact, we have a re-usable filter). If my heart and brain could handle caffeine, I would be all over it. I guess we all have our vices and I do not have decaf coffee every dayā¦ā¦itās a ātreatā when I do.
Okā¦.not sure why I felt the need to tell you all that so now you know, right? LOL Today was also Farmerās Market Friday. I skipped the pretty presentation and just grabbed a few grapes, another white nectarine (loaded with sugar spots!) and a pluot. I had the grapes and nectarine for my mid-morning snackā¦ā¦.
Along with some Annieās Honey Bunny Grahams. I know better than to leave the Bees Knees sitting on my desk because then somehow it finds a way into EVERYTHING I eat. So, the bunnies felt it was their āBees Kneesā and hopped on a spoon to join in on the fun š
Believe it or not I actually did attempt to make mini pb bunny sandwiches out of this first, but, these little bunnies are just way too small for that š
Before I left to start my weekend, my super sweet co-worker/friend brought me over a bag of tomatoes from her husbandās garden. I cannot wait to dig into these ~ I am sure they wonāt last a day in our house.
I was honestly entertained by the funny looking tomato ~ I am totally giving THAT one to The Husband.
When I got home I had TWO fantastic packages waiting for me. The package was from Fiber One. I LOVE the mini cooler and the cute pink paper inside ~ I know, itās the little things! š
Yoplait and Fiber One are taking their creamy yogurts to a whole new level ~ You can get them in little 50 calorie mini 4 packs in FOUR flavors ~ Peach, Strawberry, Key Lime, and VANILLA! I LOVE that that they use REAL fruit and you get 20% of your daily fiber intake in one little container. The BEST part however, might be that these new mini packs are 0 WEIGHT WATCHER POINTS!!!
They were nice enough to send me TWO of the new flavors to try ~ Strawberry & Key Lime Pie. I LOVE the cute Hungry Girl character with zero guilt on the packaging ~ fun!
I know you all need to see the nutritionals to believe it ~ Yup, 0 Weight Watchers points for 1 and 1 Weight Watcher Point for two. Not too shabby if you are feeling the need for more.
I am not sure which flavor I want to try the most since I LOVE both Strawberry and Key Lime Pie! I am thinking I might have to have some cinnamon graham crackers crumbled on the key lime pie with some whipped cream for dessert.
As you all know I am not a big fan of artificial sweeteners and I do not use them in anything I make. There are some exceptions where I allow them into my diet if they are used in moderation and in a healthy way. I feel like yogurt is one exception and honestly I LOVE Yoplait yogurts. I cannot wait to give you all reviews and ideas on how to use these fun mini containers.
The next package was from Kristi @ Healthy Living One Day At A Time. Do you all remember when I won her Noodles & Co Giveaway? My gift card arrived today with the sweetest note and Operation Beautiful Post It! Thank you Kristi ~ You honestly made my day with your sweetness and it was just what I needed!
After opening my fun mail, I was off to get my oil changed, tires rotated and to get the nail out of my car that was threatening to give me a flat tire. I had planned on take The Husband lunch but he stopped with his co-worker to eat at 11:00 ā who eats lunch that early?! LOL. So, I headed to Vasquez and picked up lunch to go to eat while I waited for my car.
I started off with 1 chicken taco with hot sauce ~ LOVE their tacos!
I got a side of beans and cheese for some additional protein. It also came with a side of homemade chips.
Ok ~ Iāll be honestā¦I wasnāt super hungry so I pretty much just used a few chips to eat the cheese off and called it good :D I wanted to save room for the Froyo I knew I was getting later.
I was all prepared to dig into The Amazing Adventures of Diet Girl, but, guess what? The dealership had The Food Network on TV. I was so excited to get caught up with all my favorite celebrity chefs. I am sure all the guys waiting LOVED it too! š LOL I tried tweeting while I was there but Twitter was having none of it *sigh* Oh well ~ it was the most relaxing afternoon.
After being good to my car, I stopped by to drop our photos off to our wedding dress lady (she wants to post them in her shop), stopped over to pick up a slice of cake for The Husband (more on that later) and then it was off to BayBerry for some Froyo! I got all 3 flavors (original, chocolate and strawberry) with yogurt chips on top. I LOVE that if you show your receipt from last time they give you 10% off automatically ~ Yeah!
The Husband is patiently waiting for me to head out and watch our nephews football practice. I have a fun dinner planned out to cook but not sure if we will be dining out with our family or not.
Oh and if you LOVE Chobani be sure to check out Kristiās Chobani Giveaway ~ you can get EVERY flavor~ Click HERE to check it out!
Catch you all later!

Oh yes! Isn’t white peach SO good? It’s a popular staple in my house in the summer!
But I have to disagree with that yogurt…that Hungry girl pic and the words “guilt free” is exactly what turns me off…no food should be pronounced guilt-inducing…but thats my opinion.
And ooh la la~ Jealous of your awesome froyo!

Wow, it looks like your day was filled with great food. I have pluots sitting on my kitchen counter right now too. ^^ I’m not as much a fan of nectarines as peaches, so I haven’t bought any this season yet. I really wanted to try the Fiber One yogurt, but I stay as far away from Splenda as possible. Your BayBerry looks so good though! All those white chocolate chips… Heaven.
