Happy Halloween Everyone!!! So, the BIG QUESTION of the day…..What costume did I decide to wear to the Big Halloween Celebration at work. I have to admit I sorta liked keeping you all in suspense and I appreciate all the fantastic ideas you shared. If I didn’t have to worry about sitting down I definitely think I would’ve been a Giant White Starbuck’s Cup a Hot Air Balloon or something fun like that.
Instead, I “rebelled” and was an “Outlaw” ~ Complete with my boots, hat, orange guns & holster with matching hair ties and orange bandana (ok, that was the girl in me that needed to match!)
Something tells me though, I need to work on my “Outlaw” pose because I am pretty sure they don’t go around smiling all cheesy like this LOL.
Before rushing out the door this morning, I grabbed 3 Mini Lemon Cranberry Muffins and a banana to go with my coffee (3 points+).
Do you all remember me telling you that my office REALLY gets into Halloween?! I really had NO IDEA how much they love it, but, it was one FANTASTIC DAY complete with a “Float” competition.

I am pretty sure like 80% of our company dresses up for Halloween just so they can participate in the Costume Contest.

Part 2 of our celebration was just AWESOME ~ seriously, I think I might just have the best co-workers around.
Our Board of Directors put on a skit every year….This years theme was a spin on the TV Show “To Tell The Truth”……
The Judges were the 7 Dwarves aka our Board of Directors!
They questioned the 3 Snow Whites to find the “REAL” snow white…..notice anything funny about the middle snow white?!
My FAVORITE question of the day ~ What is your favorite apple?
Snow White #2 (Middle) said, a red apple
Snow White #1 (right) pulled out her Iphone
Snow White #3 (left) said, well, everyone loves the IPAD!
The “real” snow white ended up being #2 and she won a kiss with her Prince who proceeded to drop her on the floor
Skit #2 was just as awesome ~ Family Feud!
It was the Good Girls ~ Snow White, Snookie, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood
Vs The Bad Boys ~ The Wolf, Gangster Guy, Darth Vader and I am not sure what the guy with the little dog is….
Their game show was hilarious……I had a hard time deciding between recording it all and taking pictures LOL…..
The fun didn’t end there ~ we had a HUGE potluck too.
I made my 5 points+ Pumpkin Bars to share with everyone.
I made mistake #1 when I went to build my plate ~ I was STARVING! I actually started off by being good and making a small salad with Italian (3 points+)
Believe it or not, I didn’t even sample everything we had…….
3 BBQ Meatballs & 1 Potato Pocket (6 points)
Homemade Tamales! I had 1/2 a chili cheese and 1/2 a chicken (8 points+)
I also had a couple of nachos, a potsticker and a little enchilada casserole. It was all totally worth busting into my WPA for ~ it happens once a year! I added another 8 points+ for good measure.
Dessert involved a small 1/2 slice of my Pumpkin Bars (3 points+)
Plus this homemade caramel wafer cookie….YUM!
I was actually planning on having fruit or salad or nothing for dinner but when I drove up I was greeted by Hulk Hogan’s BBQ Sauce.
The Husband actually surprised me by not only getting into costume, but, by cooking dinner too!
Meet Hulk Hogan ~ he played the Hulk a few years back and I have to say, he still does a pretty fantastic imitation!
The BBQ sauce is his “sponsor”

I started with a small salad topped with 1/2 Tbsp Trader Joe’s Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette (2 points+)
Followed up by a 1 oz BBQ Rib and 1/2 a cup of creamy mac n cheese (4 points+)
After dinner we hung out with our pumpkin and scarecrow family on the porch and handed out candy to all the kiddos. Today honestly goes down in my book as one of the BEST work days I’ve ever had ~ my co-worker’s and husband are AWESOME!

Of course! We actually sat on the porch with our pumpkin and scarecrow family to hand out candy to everyone 😀
I didn’t dress up but my daughter brought her dogs over and they had a wild time welcoming all the trick or treaters… Hunter had never seeb a pumpkin before and showed his big brother Clutch that you should eat pumpkins!! (he grabbed the lid off the pumpkin and ran!) LOL.. Your work party and pot luck looked fabulously fun!!

Well, Friday night I went to a “Day of the Dead” party which inspired me to go in full makeup (see my facebook pics!) and then yesterday (actual Halloween day/night) I taught 3 Zumba classes and dressed out in orange Zumba cargo pants, black top, multi-colored dreadlocks & fantastic orange shades I got in Morocco. We did a few “special” Halloween numbers (Thriller & Monster Mash) and a couple of “party songs” not usually in the lineup – both by LMFAO (Party Rock Anthem & Sexy and I Know It). It was a riot and we had a blast. Thanks for all you do Danica…. I’m so glad I found you!!!
