Happy Wednesday everyone! We did it ~ I managed to get everything on my list complete including buying new luggage and packing it. We are now at the airport getting ready to board our flight to Australia. I am officially excited now. Although I didn’t have much time before we left, I fully plan on posting all of our adventures in Australia. The Husband is in charge of the picture taking during the days I am in training and I cannot wait to see what he comes up with.
We actually will be flying for the next 16.5 hours, but, with the time change we will jump ahead two days. We “skip” Valentine’s day this year since we leave on 02/13 and land on 02.15.
My Miso Soup at the Sushi Place at the airport had a Heart in it to make up for that ~ so cool!
Two things I totally want to see ~ a Kangaroo and a Tasmanian Devil…..
What is one thing you’d like to see and/or do in Australia? We will be in Sydney and Adelaide.

Enjoy your trip…you will want to return again and again! My first trip was 14 years ago yesterday, when I was married in WA on a beautiful beach! Visit the shops as you walk around the Opera House, and try to do the Harbour Bridge walk…on my Bucket List! Just enjoy the Australian people and have the trip of a lifetime! I can’t wait to go again in April 🙂
Australia is AWESOME!!! I spent 6 weeks there in the summer of 2001. The food, the people, the sights… it is all amazing! I fed a kangaroo… I held a koala… saw a play in the opera house… swam the Great Barrier Reef… even ate a kangaroo sandwich. Truly, the trip of a lifetime! Enjoy every minute!!!!!
