Happy Friday all! On my way out the door this morning, I grab a banana and coffee to snack on during my Weight Watcher meeting. I am so pumped to be back on track ~ it ALWAYS amazes me how well the program works WHEN you actually write everything down and focus on making good choices. I made that promise to myself last week and stuck to it focusing on my good health guidelines.
THE RESULT ~ I LOST 1 LB today ~ motivation to do it all over again next week!
Today marked such a happy, but, sad, day for me. I am SO EXCITED to move onto the next phase of my life at the new job, but, sad because I will no longer get to attend my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE LEADER’S meeting anymore. Maybe if I say it enough on here, she will lead a weekend meeting too.
I know change is a good thing, but, I have to admit, I feel a little “lost” not knowing which meeting I will go to next, when, and where. I will have to test a few out once I figure out my new schedule.
In addition to be an awesome leader and friend, she is just one of the most thoughtful people I know. She gave me a little “CONGRATS! gift when I walked in.
Tracey got me the COOLEST new lunch bag and my leader got me the Lunch Kit to go INSIDE the bag ~ I LOVE it!
Complete with an insulated cup (my FAVORITE cups to drink iced coffee & water out of) and the cutest matching napkins.
Oh, and there was an added bonus for those “stressful days”.
You know….for coffee, tea, juice
The Husband has been asking to have Chipotle all week so today we went there for lunch. Since I unintentionally had not used any of my points+ for the day, I decided to go all out.
15 points+, but, you could easily remove any of the below to save on points+. I use Chipotle Fan to calculate the nutritionals whenever I go to see “what’s worth it to me”:
- Lettuce (0)
- Chicken (5)
- Fajita Vegetables (1)
- Pico de Gallo (0)
- Corn Salsa (1)
- Cheese (4)
- GUACAMOLE! (4)
- Umm, I may or may not have stole a couple of The Husband’s chips too (2)
We had a fun afternoon planned hanging out with our nephews. It was sort of up in the air if we were all going to cook together or head out to eat. I was totally cracking up when they told The Husband they wanted sushi or the place you go to make big noodle bowls (his two not so favorites).
We ended up at a local Mongolian BBQ. We started with the “fire cracker” appetizer….don’t you LOVE how my nephew busted out his phone to take pictures when he saw me doing it
I skipped the soup (can you believe it?!) and had 2 fried won tons & a fried shrimp. (3 points+)
I totally piled on the chicken, beef and veggies.
Then, added a 1/2 cup of noodles plus pineapple. I wish they had nuts and sriracha.
I actually couldn’t finish it all. I counted my 2/3’s of my bowl as 8 points+.
SUCCESS ~ They all had room for ice cream like an hour later. I went with everyone, but, did not have any since I was still full/satisfied. My mouth wanted it though.
I wish I had the Nephews energy ~ they are still going and I am ready to zonk out LOL.
TOTAL DAILY POINTS+ USED: 28
Tomorrow Tracey & I head to the city for the Fit Bloggin’ Breakfast Summit and the Farmer’s Market. I can’t wait to meet everyone!
Night all!

Congrats on your weight loss!! I lost 2 pounds last week and 0.6 today because I decided to try the “no white flour and no sugar”! Now I’m actually under my goal weight! That being said, I will confess that right now, I am softening the butter to make your banana chocolate chip bread. Yum. Giving up a favorite leader has to be difficult. I’ve been with my for years and she not only motivates me but the community that I sit with are also motivational. I’m sure if you try out several, you will also find another fabulous leaders and then, on days off, you can go see the “old” one and also have a new fav and community. Good luck.

Coincidentally, Monday is my favorite all-time WW leader’s last day. I am sad I won’t see her anymore. She has so much compassion for her members, and she had just the right balance of seriousness and humor. I know how you feel . . .
