Hi all! Let the Adventures in France begin! Last week we headed over to France as I have a few days of meetings for work. This week I’ll be posting a few recaps as time permits of our trips to Lyon, France and Valence, France.
After a long day of travel, we checked into the Radisson Blu in Lyon. What I love about this hotel is it starts on the 32nd floor so you can see it from wherever you are. It’s perfect if your like me and get lost everywhere.
We have two huge windows in our room and this is the view. The hotel is actually pretty nice with hip decorations throughout….looking up from the reception area while checking in.Our room….I love the name of their bath products “This Works”.And this is just interesting….I told The Husband he can try it first and let me know.Having an Espresso machine in our room is so awesome and so bad because now I just look for reasons to use it. My first attempt at ordering room service….Pizza or as the waiter said “or something like that”….plus saladThis was for The Husband although I had to try it because well, it wasn’t pizza! It’s this delicious bread topped with sauce, ham, parmesan, arugula mixed with olive oil & balsamic tgen topped with roasted tomatoes.
It was actually pretty tasty.I ordered the vegetable soup when he said it was cabbage, carrots….well, it was more like broccoli and cheese.
We shared the fries which I could’ve eaten just that for dinner. We watched the sunset from our room at 9 pm.And it was almost dark by 10 pm.I’ll catch up with our walking tour through Lyon (pronounced Leon) tomorrow.
Night all!

I love France. Make sure you have at least one chocolate croissant.
