Happy Wednesday all! I am glad to know I am not the only one who is still drooling over that Cheesy Sour Dough Pull Apart Bread that I showed you all yesterday. It really is as good as it looks, but, the thing about something that rich ~ you can really only eat a little without feeling the richness of it all.
When I woke up this morning, I realized I wasn’t successful at willing my chest cold to go away. Since it feels like someone is standing on my lungs, I decided to skip my am run and traded it in for a Starbuck’s….you know, lattes cure all colds lol.
Grande, Nonfat, Decaf Latte with Caramel drizzled on top (SF) – 3 points+
Today was lunch celebration #2 at BJ’s Brewery. I knew exactly what I was going to order before we headed out because I am IN LOVE with their Thai Shrimp Lettuce Wraps.
My 2nd goal was to go to BJ’s and not actually have a Pizookie ~ something that is almost possible to do when celebrating….but, I did it!
I may or may not have had a small slice of the BBQ Chicken Pizza appetizer (80,20, right)
I started with their small plates Fresh Tomato & Mozzarella Salad. It was tasty, but, I think it would’ve been better with more tomatoes. (SF + 3 WPA for the cheese) – 5 points+
Then, I really did order the Thai Shrimp Lettuce Cups.
Grilled shrimp glazed with spicy Thai sauce, served on a bed of Napa cabbage, cilantro, carrots and red onion, all tossed with a fresh, minty mango salsa and sprinkled with toasted coconut. Served in butter lettuce cups with a spicy Thai sauce for dipping.
100% Simply Filling or 7 points+ for the entire plate. I think I need to re-create this recipe!
The Husband had to work late so we ended up meeting at Chipotle for dinner. I balanced out my day with a Chipotle Salad Bowl which I consider a success since all I really wanted to eat was chips and guacamole for dinner. (I did have a few of his chips for the record.)
You can determine the points+ of anything you put in your bowl by visiting Chipotlefan.com. My entire bowl is 8 points+.
I count this bowl as Simply Filling because everything in it ~ is!
- romaine
- fajita veggies
- chicken
- 2 types of salsa ~ corn & pico de gallo
- I skipped the cheese, beans and rice because I didn’t “need” them
Don’t worry ~ I will be back in the kitchen cooking again next week when my appetite/energy returns and all the celebrations are over.
For now, I am off to catch some zzzz’s.
Night all!

Feel better soon, Danica! What a trooper to feel so badly, and still keep us motivated by keeping up with your “daily”. You’re so motivating and real. Keep up the amazing work you do! I so look forward to hearing from my “WW Buddy” each day.

Thx for sharing your eating out adventures. They just opened a BJ’s near us and the menu was overwhelming. Now after reading your post and seeing the Thai cup photos I know what I will be ordering when we go there.
Also haven’t been to Chipotles in a long time. I’m guessing you used the 2 salsa’s you listed as dressing? I heart their vinegarette but haven’t calculated the points yet.
I just found your site today. I sure have enjoyed thumbing thru all you different posts. Thx for sharing with us!

Hi Cassie,
Yes, I use the salsas and sometimes guacamole as my dressing. I find ordering my Chipotle bowl this way has enough flavor that I do not need the dressing.
