Daily Snap: 1 SmartPoint Cheese

Happy Friday all! I chalked up another 30 SmartPoints day today that included Pizza Night! Have you all seen this new (to me) cheese at Trader Joe’s? 1 ounce is 1 SmartPoint and even better 2 oz is 2 SmartPoints. The amazing thing – it tastes like full fat mozzarella and melts beautifully.

Before going into the oven

Right out of the oven – see what I mean?

Daily Snap Recap:

B: Breakfast repeat – Scrambled Egg (2 SP), 2 pieces Trader Joe’s Peppered Turkey Bacon (2 SP), 1 cup strawberries

S: Grande Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (3 SP)

L: Ham & Cheese Wrap (La Tortilla Lite Tortilla topped with 1 Spicy Pepperjack Laughing Cow Wedge, 2 oz honey ham, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, sweet pepper, pepperoncinis, tomatoes & 1 1/2 Tbsp fried peppered onion strings) – 5 SP, 1 Mini Bag SunChips – 5 SP, 1 1/2 cups watermelon

S: 1 oz Pita Chips (4 SP) with 2 Tbsp Black Bean Chipotle Hummus (2 SP), 1/2 Mandarin

D: One Amazing Homemade Pizza using pita bread & mushrooms that I bought at the Farmers Market – Pita Bread topped with pizza sauce, 1 oz TJs lite mozzarella, 10 Turkey Pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, pepperoncinis & oregano) – 7 sp

    So you and the hubby each get your own pizza? Looks delish! What brand of pita is that…. Looks like a real pizza crust!

      Hi Nancy,

      Yes, we both decorate our own pizzas so they are made the way we like them. I bought these from the hummus guy at the farmers market but I’ve seen a comparable store brand made by Oroweat called pita flat bread.
