Happy Friday Eve all! This morning I was up early and on the treadmill to pound out my 34 minute jog/walk doing C25K week 1.2. I honestly think I am going to need to repeat week 1 next week because it isn’t “easy” yet. It still felt good to check it off my list before heading out yo meet my good friend for coffee. We chatted for hours and I was starving when I got home so lunch was a quick Authentic Asia Shrimp WonTon Bowl.
I feel like I finally mastered two things at dinner – cooking rice on the stove (I’ve always used a rice cooker) and making one authentic tasting stir fry. I followed this recipe for General Tso Chicken and will definitely be making it again.
Daily Snap Recap (not pretty but fast & tasty!):B: Healthy Eggroll (Mission Extra Thin Yellow Corn Tortilla topped with Sargento RF Cheddar and a fried egg) – 3 sp, cutie
S: Tall Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (2 sp)
L: Authentic Asia Shrimp WonTon Ramen bowl (8 sp)
S: Banana, WW Pepperjack string cheese (1 sp)
D: 1/4 Svg General Tso Chicken (4 sp), 1/2 cup steamed rice (3 sp)
Then, I had to dive into the treats my friend brought back from her trip to Japan for us. I count 5 sp for my tastes and we haven’t tried everything yet.
It sounds and looks strange but I love these cheddar almond rice crackers. They have a salty sweet soy sauce flavor too.?She knows I love gummy anything so we got a bag of Grape Jelly Candies – like the Sunkist ones but sweeter. Perfect for satisfying any sweet craving.26 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 12K steps
