Happy Wednesday all! I think I can actually say jogging is getting easier after my 4th jog walk. Today’s activity included a 35 minute jog/walk for C25K1.2 followed up by doing another Hoopla download – Jillian Michael’s Body Revolution back & legs.
I think I am also learning that I get really hungry on days I do weight workouts. Breakfast did a good job keeping me full all AM and my lunch was just OK. It wasn’t until my afternoon snacks that my hunger kicked in.
I tried the Chocolate WW protein stix’s and decided I do not like this was – it’s grainy and almost like eating the protein powder. An hour later, I was starving so I grabbed a zero point apple. Dinner finally satisfied my taste buds and stomach.
My 3 lessons of the day:
1) Keep at it no matter how hard it is, it gets easier – this is true for workouts & eating.
2) Caffeine – omg, since not getting Starbucks daily and not drinking coffee all day, I can’t handle caffeine anymore. My heart has been racing all day since that cappuccino lol.
3) Satisfying your taste buds goes a long way in keeping you satisfied/not hungry. My lunch felt healthy/diety and so did the bar. The meals that stuck with me were the ones I enjoyed – the egg casserole and shells (both amazing the next day).
