Happy Monday all! How was your day? If I’m being honest, today was sort of a Monday but layered with a bit of fun. Walking around the office this morning, our pepper breeder had some of this year’s harvest lined up by name. I also learned two fun facts about my company:
- If you want, you can go out to the fields for a pepper tasting any time to learn the evolution of our peppers. I am not sure I could handle the heat.
- We make the seeds and grow the peppers used for Sriracha!!! That’s just too cool to me.

The rest of my day wasn’t as exciting. We did have a going away lunch and cupcakes for my Accounting Buddy who has been here from France this whole time to help me out. I will miss him but it was a fun send off.
I am proud I picked a salad, limited my appetizers and passed up the cake. I wasn’t feeling super hungry at dinner and The Husband wanted Mary’s so I went with it (yay for no cooking on a Monday).
