Happy Tuesday all! Do you know I was about to type Wednesday? Wishful thinking no doubt as I can’t wait for the long weekend. This morning I couldn’t wait to try this new Oroweat Granola bread I bought that’s 2 Smartpoints a slice. I wanted to like it more than I did and I’m not sure why I was surprised that well it tastes like granola lol. I think it’s the brown sugar sweetness that threw me a bit.
Lunch….oh, how I adore Mini Mango on Main in Napa and I probably go way too often as the owners always tell me “See you tomorrow” whenever I leave. My coworker told me this morning she owed me lunch and a Starbucks so we were heading to Thai today. I know, she’s awesome and what makes her even better – she shares with me so I get to try bites of everything I want. She also doesn’t mind that I make her hoof it (aka walk) walk to lunch so I get in my steps.
I ended up working late but I’m proud I waited until I was hungry to dive into my healthy snacks. I was so tempted and tired when I got home that I almost said yes to The Husband saying let’s get take out. I reminded myself that it would take more time to do that then to just power through it and cook dinner. The reward – not only a deliciously healthy dinner, but, feeling proud I stayed on track.
