- Thank you all for the birthday messages, gifts and wishes today! I’ve had a fantastic day celebrating with my family, co-workers and friends and I am definitely feeling quite spoiled.
Today I learned how to de-bone an entire fish and feel pretty proud of making a “fishy” choice when I could’ve eaten anything today. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely ate my fair share of treats coming in today at 46 SmartPoints. It’s been nice to indulge and my plan was to keep it to one day on my actual birthday but I have to say I’m ready to get back at it tomorrow sticking to 30 point days the rest of the week….My body is telling me that too.
The Husband gets major props for putting so much thought and creativity into all the gifts he got and made me today. You all will get to see some of them in my recaps soo.
My office was decorated with flowers, balloons and cards when I walked in….
For lunch, my co-workers took me to The Kitchen Door at Oxbow Market and it was amazing! You know out of all the appetizers I had to pick Brussels Sprouts š They know me too well making sure we got cappuccino’s at Ritual coffee before heading back.
I was surprised again by my sneaky co-workers who told me someone needed to meet with me before a meeting and they were all there waiting with cake and Da Luca Prosecco. The Husband took me out for Hibachi and Sushi too but I have to say I couldn’t each much of it because I was still full lol!
And My Daily Snap Recap of my eats:
B: Healthy Eggroll (5 SP), 1/3 c blueberries
S: Tall Nonfat Cappuccino with caramel on top (2 SP) + 2 senorita bread rolls from my coworker (5 SP)
L: 1/2 c Brussels Sprouts, 2 teriyaki chicken wings, 2 slices flat bread with burrata, 5 oz grilled branzino fish with a sweet chili, garlic, lime sauce, about 1/2 of the lemon cheesecake parfait (20 SP estimated breaking it all down)
S: small cappuccino (2 SP), 2 sips Prosecco and a couple bites of the cake they got me but I was too full to eat/drink – I took my slice of cake home to The Husband.
D: Miso Soup (2 SP), side salad (2 SP), 3 pieces sushi (5 SP), about 1/3 hibachi shrimp & veggies and I passed on the rice (3 SP)
There you have it – full disclosure, not a perfect day but one that was worth every bite and I counted it all!
Night all!
