Daily Snap: Sushi Celebrating

June 18, 2018 by DanicasDaily 4 Comments

Happy Monday all! Thanks for sharing all your cold brew ideas today.  I will keep trying it and let you know if I find sonething I love. I may just be an iced espresso purest lol.

Today a nonstop day from the moment I got up. Even though I am feeling pretty tired now, I feel so accomplished. We had a fun sushi lunch celebrating my coworkers birthday. I did good with the zero point starters then I seemed to eat everything in 4’s. I should’ve/could’ve lightened it up at dinner but I was truly starving when I got home. Counted it all and I’ll make tomorrow a better day.

My goodness! If you can’t eat rigatoni with turkey sauce and some garlic bread after the minimal sushi lunch you had, PLUS all the steps you take- and there is NOT a single sweet in sight, then WW isn’t really “eat what you like”. You seem to be the most disciplined person I have ever seen in what you eat and all the steps you take. I am certainly thinking you must be at lifetime and are just maintaining. No “should have” “could have” should ever even enter your mind in my opinion. You are doing SUPER all the time! Besides, supposedly those extra few points should come off of weeklies which you don’t seem to even use. Keep up what you are doing if these foods make you satisfied and you enjoy them!

Thanks Jeanne for the nice note. I agree that it’s all about making the program fit your lifestyle. I actually am not really a sweets person which is why you do not see me post them very often. Give me anything salty and crunchy and I have little will power 🙂

I am about halfway where I want to be – I’ve lost 30 lbs and want to lose 20-25 more. I definitely go through phases of doing really well and not on the program. This go round I’ve been trying to find my new balance after starting my new job. I’ll get there and know what I need to do, now it’s time to kick it into gear.

thank you so much for the info on Mikuni-my FAVORITE Japanese restaurant when I go through Roseville. Now I know the points which really helps. Also since I live in the Bay Area – they are opening one in Concord soon and I can’t wait.

      Hi Karen,

I did not know that about Concord – I cannot wait. Although I do love Yokoso Sushi in Pleasant Hill too so that will be a tough choice.

      Thanks,
