Daily Snap: Track as you go…

July 17, 2017 by DanicasDaily 2 Comments

Hi all! Thanks for the nice comments on yesterday’s post. It felt good to get back into my groove today. I knew it would be a busy day so I made sure to check off my walk first thing. I only had time for 30 minutes today but I definitely think moving “some” is always better than none. I managed to fit in more walking to lunch and coffee. (I kinda felt like saying escape from my all day meetings lol)

I reminded myself tonight on why you should track your day as it goes along. I was still a bit hungry after dinner and thought, oh, I have extra points so I had a scoop of the 3 points potato salad I made for The Husband. I then logged my dinner and realized I forgot to log my almonds! Gah, it’s all good though – I’m still in the 27-37 point range I shoot for to get my blue dot for today. And I’m finally full after one hungry day.

Daily Snap Recap:

B: Healthy Eggroll (Mission Extra Thin Yellow Corn Tortilla, Sargento RF cheddar, Fried Egg, Sriracha) – 5 sp, 2/3 cup watermelon

S: Grande iced Nonfat Latte with caramel on top (3 sp), then 28 BBQ almonds ( I love these) – 5 sp. This snack kept me in check for our working lunch

L: @Eikos Napa – big side salad with sesame miss dressing on the side (1 sp), 4 pieces Ricky Ricardo on vacation (6 sp), 4 pieces spicy A’s roll (3 sp)

S: Tall Iced Dirty Americano (1 sp)

S2: after working late on my drive home – 7 hours after lunch – Trader Joe’s Lite String Cheese (2 sp), pluot

D: 3 oz grilled pork chop with grilled mushrooms (3 sp), 1 cup Taylor Farms Greek Salad (4 sp), 1/2 cup Healthy Potato Salad (3 sp)

How would you do the blue dot tracking if you are on simply filling? That you exercised that day rather than the point as I do not use points when I do simply filling?
    Thanks, you are awesome!
