Happy WEEKEND everyone!!! I had a little bit of time this morning before we head out for the day so I wanted to pop in and share yesterday’s deliciousness! Some days, I really just want to repeat they are THAT good. ~ bacon, salad, pizza, tacos…..yup and it’s all totally on plan ~ just another reason I LOVE Weight Watchers!
Breakfast was all about 3 B’s!
BACON! (TJ’s Peppered Turkey Bacon 2 points+)
BANANA and BUCKS (Starbuck’s Venti Iced Dirty Latte that is ~ 4 points+)
My co-worker and I decided we NEEDED to get out of the office, afterall, it was Friday…perfect reason, right?! We headed out to Round Table because I was craving a HUGE Salad Bar Salad….
I pretty much put the kitchen sink in my salads too, but, the good thing, is MOST of it is 0 points+ veggies. Here is what was on my plate:
* Tons of Lettuce
* Carrots
* Cherry Tomatoes
* Cucumber Slices
* Beets
* 1 Tbsp Chickpeas (0 points+)
* 1 Tbsp Kidney Beans (0 points+)
* 1 Tbsp Black Olives (0 points+)
* I Tbsp Sunflower Seeds (1 point+)
* 1 Tbsp Cheese (no real logic here, I stopped in the middle of grabbing it) (1 point+)
* Egg (2 points+)
Whenever I want REAL dressing, like ranch, I ALWAYS ask for it on the side and put it in a little container.
Then, I dip my fork in it so I have a little ranch with each bite in my salad. This trick allows me to actually TASTE the dressing with each bite and I use a lot less (about 1/2 the container ~ 1 Tbsp) versus the entire 1/4 cup scoop that they use at salad bars. (2 points+)
Usually I am completely happy with just a big salad, but, yesterday I really wanted PIZZA….a MUSHROOM PIZZA that is….I ordered it on “Skinny Crust” to save on points+.
I LOVE that Round Table has their nutritional information online. I used the Skinny Crust Personal Cheese to calc it and the entire thing is 14 points+. You could actually eat just half and be pretty content, but, yesterday, I went for it all since I have the points+ and my WPA….GO BIG OR GO HOME, RIGHT?! LOL…..
The Husband wanted to go out to eat at Chipotle for dinner and I was surprisingly still not too hungry (8 hours after lunch!). I picked 2 crunchy chicken tacos (he had my 3rd, a quesadilla and burrito ~ I am so jealous of his ability to eat and look HOT! LOL)
Crunchy corn shells, chicken, pico de gallo, corn salsa, a small sprinkle of cheese and extra lettuce (4 points+ each ~ 8 for 2!)
34 points+ for a “double feature” having one AWESOME lunch with my Friend and Dinner out with The Husband….enjoying every bite and being 100% on track!
Today I am off to go burn all those calories off helping my parents get ready for spring cleaning up the trees, leaves and such…..I can’t wait to see what the calorie burn my Body Bugg shows
Q’s
What is one FUN THING you are doing this weekend?
I am excited that we get to hang out with my family (even if my parents are making us “earn it” and our friends at tomorrows Super Bowl Party…..
Have a FABULOUS Saturday all! I should be back tonight if I am not too wiped out!
So wrong….but Cupcake Challange!!
We’re making wine with friends at a winery south of Seattle. I’m not drinking these days so I’m the DD. Will just be fun to be hanging out and seeing how wine is “made.” We’re not crushing grapes or anything. I think it’s more like a blending thing. Have a great weekend!
” I am so jealous of his ability to eat and look HOT! ”
I feel the same way about my boyfriend… it’s unreal! 😀
I just finished making your Healthy and Spicy Buffalo Chicken Meatballs (they are in a crock pot waiting to be re-heated tomorrow) for a Super-Superbowl party we’re attending. Quite a few of us are doing WW – so there will be plenty of options for all of us to help us stay on plan. These were really fun to make – and Chuck and I split one to sample…they are so yummy, too! Thanks for the recipe!
I totally went to Trader Joe’s and got those chicken tenders and made your buffalo hot wing chicken recipe from the other day. Then pulled an awesome wing sauce recipe from another site and made for me and the hubby. He was totally digging the sauce and chicken scrumptiousness. Thanks for all your wonderful ideas and tips and for keeping us motivated.
