Eat, Repeat and I signed up for…..

February 18, 2010 by DanicasDaily 6 Comments

Happy Friday Eve all!  So I was debating titles for this post between “Do-Over” and “Eat Repeat”.  I asked The Husband which he thought and he had his own version of same s#&* different day.  Obviously that wouldn’t really work soooooo today is all about repeating what I ate yesterday….well, sort of.  Sometimes when you have a good thing, why fight it ~ have it again and again 😀

This morning started with another 2 pt fruit salad.

IMG_9609

Banana

4 strawberries

Handful Blueberries

I had another Fage 2% today this one with Honey.  WOW,. they give you way too much honey in these.  I used like 1/4 of it since there isn’t much yogurt to add it to and counted it as 3 pts.  I LOVE honey but why spend the calories if you don’t need it.

IMG_9608

All together with a Kashi Strawberry Protein Flax waffle for 1 pt.

IMG_9606

Before I headed out for my 4 mile lunchtime run, I had the other 1/2 of my Tropical Fruit Lara bar.  My run today was AWESOME ~ I felt fast and like I could’ve just kept going.  It’s amazing what a difference good music can make :D  Now hopefully I can feel this great on my Saturday run with my speedy sis and her 5’11” legs.

IMG_9533

My lunch yesterday was phenomenal ~ I am honestly DIGGING putting dips on my sandwiches.  Today was a total do-over.

IMG_9620

1 Morning Star Toasted Crispy Chick Patty ( 3pts)

1 Tbsp Spicy Artichoke Jalapeño Dip (1 pt)

Red Bell Pepper slices

Earth Grains Thin Bun (1 pt)

Next time, I am totally adding a big squirt of Sriracha to it – YUM!

I had a crunchy organic side salad.

IMG_9621

Topped with Annie’s Lite Herb Balsamic.

IMG_9613

Great stats ~ I seriously LOVE that Annie’s is branching out into the lite and Fat Free dressings so I can enjoy more of them, literally :D  You get so little of the full fat versions for the calories compared to their lower calorie versions 🙂

IMG_9618

I tried, but, i couldn’t resist those CRACK ~ ers ~ 6 Olive Oil Rosemary Triscuits for 2 pts.

IMG_9622

YUM ~ just seeing it makes me want to have it all over again ~ too bad my chick patties are all gone now 🙁

IMG_9614

For my afternoon sweet tooth snack I couldn’t decide between the TWO Orange Options that Kristina sent me from Colorado..so I had a little of both…why pick?

TWO SQUARES for 2 pts of this ChocoLOVE Orange Peel Dark Chocolate Bar.

IMG_9626

I think the STATS of these bars tops almost every bar out there.  I LOVE that you get 6 squares for 3 points, but, you often don’t need that much.  I LOVED this flavor – you get their amazing rich dark chocolate with hints of orange flavor that are slightly crunchy.  This is by far one of my favs.

IMG_9625

Kristina cracked me up on her note for these ~ she said they include the 3 food groups: Orange, bread and beans (cacao).  That totally works for me….What’s not to LOVE about a short bread cookie topped with a tangy orange filling and DARK CHOCOLATE.

IMG_9627

Especially when they are ONE POINT EACH.

IMG_9628

These cookies were interesting to me.  The cookie is super soft, like bread, and the orange is pretty tangy sweet.  I liked the contrast with the dark chocolate, but, totally think the cookie should be crunchy.

I can’t show you all pictures of the cookies or chocolate because at this point my camera died 🙁

After work, I went on a mission to Target.  Thanks to Selina for the heads up that they sell ChocoLOVE Bars in California at Target & Cost Plus.  I found 3 flavors ON SALE today at Target ~ woohoo!

I came home, snacked on a few Stacy’s Pita Chips (3 pts and unpictured) then, spent the next hour looking for my camera charger and finally found it in a grocery bag with my Magic Bullet *sigh*

Dinner was simple ~ a spicy, cheesy quesadilla.

IMG_9633

1 LaTortilla MultiGrain Wrap (1 pt)

1 oz Low Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese (2 pts)

Hot Sauce

IMG_9638

Plus a super sweet orange I shared with The Husband.

So glad you found them! 🙂 I haven’t met a Chocolove I didn’t love…hehe…:) My boyfriend was away this past week and before he left, I hide a few bars in his suitcase so he would have some chocolate and love when he was away….so cheezy, right?! ;P

Glad you love the Chocolove. When I went to buy you those bars, I decided I can’t leave without a bar of my own and I swear it just might be the best chocolate I have EVER had, creamy, flavorful and just yum..
