Happy Sunday all! We had another packed, but fun weekend. I couldn’t wait to get back to my Weight Watchers meeting on Saturday to get my head back in the game. I don’t know about you all but I have such a mental challenge when I know I won’t be going to a meeting (we were in Lake Tahoe last weekend). It’s like every time I sit down to think, I think oh, I can have all the bad stuff because I’m not weighing in this week. Or it’s ok, I have 2 weeks to turn that off. I try to tell myself it’s not like that but I don’t always succeed at it.
I need the accountability of my meeting and the scale as it keeps me on track. I was up .6 lbs this week but I am totally ok with that.
We followed WW up with a fun day hanging out with my mom and taking our middle nephew shopping to stock up his new place.
Today we mixed up our weekend breakfast spot and had breakfast at Denny’s. I built my own slam and at 2 pieces bacon (3 sp) with 2 eggs over medium, 1 slice sour dough toast dry (2 sp) with 1/2 cup grits (2 sp).
I love grits and wish more places out here served them.Before running around to shop for an anniversary and birthday gift, we grabbed Starbucks.
Tall nonfat cappuccino with caramel on top of the foam (2 sp).I spent the afternoon cleaning and prepping for the week. Midway through we stopped for Jersey Mike’s.
I had a mini #8 Turkey & Provolone Mike’s way plus pepperoncini and jalapeno (8 sp). The Husband shared some BBQ chips too (3 sp).My late afternoon snack was watermelon.
My plan for this week is simple dinners that make enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day.
Tonight we had healthy burritos and I am planning a taco salad tomorrow.
I was super excited at the store when I scanned these tortillas and they came in at 2 Smartpoints. Then double checked as it seemed too good to be true. The WW scanner wasn’t right though – comparing the nutrition facts they are 3 Smartpoints. I’d still buy them for real deal tortillas that are delicious.I took each tortilla and topped with 1/4 cup fat free salsa refried beans, 1/4 cup turkey taco meat, 1/4 oz Trader Joe’s Lite Mexican Cheese.Then, I finished my burritos with lettuce, garden tomatoes and jalapenos. 10 sp for two.30 Daily WWFreestyle Smartpoints, 11K steps
