Happy Biggest Loser day all!!! Today was such an insanely busy day, but, all was made right when I saw Curtis Stone on Biggest Loser tonight I LOVED the Pop Cooking Challenge and of course, The Girls comments about his HOTNESS! He is soooo my celebrity crush ~ seriously!
Speaking of Biggest Loser ~ I had 2 insanely good Taco Egg Muffins with “banana chips” for breakfast (5 points+).
Mid-Morning I was starving and my stomach was pretty much going to eat itself. I really think it was from all the moving (I packed up my and my co-workers offices today!)
I decided I NEEDED a snack so I had a nectarine and a Sargento LF Colby Jack Cheese Square (2 points+).
Work actually bought us lunch today but I was really proud I passed up the sandwiches and opted for another Chinese Chicken Salad (7 points). I did take a couple of bites to try out the salads they offered up with the sandwiches, but, in the end…..nothing could beat how good this salad is.
I DID have one of their cookies for dessert….it was buttery, sugary, crispy good! 3 points+
Even though I probably earned enough activity points moving all day long, I hopped on the treadmill when I got home! I repeated the Couch to 5K 1.1 for 30 minutes followed up with about 10 minutes of yoga stretching.
I was STARVING once again and decided to snack on half a personal watermelon while dinner cooked. I LOVE watermelon ~ it makes me want summer to be here already!
Awhile back the folks at Schwan’s asked if I wanted to take a vacation from the kitchen and have them do the cooking for me. Ummmm, yes, please ~ who doesn’t want to have dinner made for them.?!
The Husband gets excited for dinners like this too because he can say he “cooked” for us and I am all about encouraging that
Schwan’s sent us the complete VEGETARIAN meal that included Baked Ziti, Five Cheese Garlic French Bread, MicrosSteam Baby Broccoli Florets and Chocolate Ice Cream.
Baked Ziti ~ 8 Points+ for 1/3 of the entire pan and a decent ingredient list.
MMMMM ~ I LOVED the looks of the hot melted cheese when it finished baking.
Not just any garlic bread, but, CHEESY GARLIC BREAD!
I LOVE how they come in individually wrapped packages so you only have to use what you actually need.
Keep in mind their stats are for an entire loaf ~ 9 points+
I sliced each loaf into 3 pieces each, making each slice more reasonable at 3 Points+ each.
The serving looks small, but, it was quite filling. It actually wasn’t too bad…the cheesy top was my favorite part.
Garlic bread goodness!
All together with a side of steamed broccoli topped with garlic salt, black pepper, a little butter and freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 point+)
I couldn’t wait to dig into dessert! I will take the REAL DEAL ice cream any day over a lower fat or sugar free version.
I was glad to see the stats were not bad ~ 4 points+ for a 1/2 cup serving.
Their ice cream is so soft, smooth and creamy, I used my 1/2 cup measuring scoop to easily measure it out. I almost ALWAYS add fruit to ice cream because it makes it FEEL like more.
1 banana+ 1/2 c chocolate ice cream + 1 Tbsp mini chocolate chips = LOVE for 6 points+!
Workout ~ check! Water ~ 92 ounces! Eat less ~ better, but, working on it still!

Q’s
How do you “top” your ice cream? Do you like to eat your ice cream straight up or do you top it with sauces, fruit, etc?
My FAVORITE sauce to top with is caramel…..favorite addition, definitely bananas! The more toppers the better in my book
Oh…..another giveaway for you to take a vacation from your kitchen coming up next too!
Night all!

Depending on the flavor, sometimes I’ll make a “banana split” – similar to yours. Slice the banana right down the middle, plop the ice cream in between, some fat free reddi whip, and some hershey’s lite chocolate syrup. But then there are the times that I just want to savor the flavor of the ice cream by itself, bite by bite, just the ice cream.

Mmmmm… ice cream. I’ll take it any way I can get it. With chocolate sauce, or a little caramel drizzle, throw on some crushed heath bars or maybe reese’s pieces would be good, strawberry sauce is nice and some sliced banana wouldn’t hurt, as long as there’s a little whipped cream squirted on top. 🙂 That’s how I *used* to eat ice cream anyway – in the biggest bowl I could find. Nowadays I enjoy it straight up and savor every bite of my 1/2 c serving.
