Happy Friday Eve all! I had so much fun today at work that I didn’t have time to post ~ Ok, well, not really on the “fun” part. But, I did get to move to my new area in the office and now have new neighbors so that part can be fun. Plus, I had a chance to burn some calories moving instead of just sitting at my desk ~ see, win, win, right? 🙂
This mornings breakfast was simple. I started off with a pluot and some grapes.
Plus a Thomas Double Fiber English Muffin with 1 Tbsp whipped butter.
And a 0 point Fiber One Strawberry yogurt. Breakfast completely hit the spot and was a total points bargain of only 4 Weight Watcher Points.
I got down to “bees knees” with my mid morning snack of a banana plus 1 Tbsp of The Bees Knees Peanut Butter – YUM! I forgot how much I LOVE a banana plus peanut butter plus honey.
The Husband’s birthday is this weekend so I had to spend my lunch hour power shopping for him. He makes it pretty easy by taking my camera to Home Depot to snap some pictures of things he wants (really – he wants everything in the store). But, it’s funny to see his wish list on my camera. I am also supplementing his gift with some cool Cal Bears stuff along with his favorite dinner (either me cooking or going out) and the COOLEST CAKE ever – I cannot wait to share it with you all!
After feeling somewhat successful shopping, I came back to a fantastic wrapped up lunch.
1 Sun dried tomato basil tortilla
1 laughing cow lite wedge
5 slices total lean honey roasted turkey & ham
Sliced cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper and romaine
Freshly ground pepper ~ delish. I am honestly totally hooked on wraps at the moment. For some crunch I had the rest of the veggie tray veggies with a little ranch.
And our last pluot from the market for dessert.
All together on my super cool new plate ~ I LOVE my plate – it’s so fun!
My lunch kept me full all afternoon long. I honestly did not need an afternoon snack but our Haagen Daaz snackers were calling me – I heard them! I had the choice of my Weight Watcher bars, but, sometimes, you just need the real deal. Today I needed the real deal – LOVE these ~ why can’t they be fat free and only 30 calories or something 😀
After work I headed to our local farmer’s market as it was my turn to pick up the goodies for tomorrow’s Farmer’s Market Friday. I LOVE being able to go there, sample everything and buy it not using my own $$. The Husband went with me to carry my bags (he so earned points there since it’s a million degrees outside today). We literally snacked our way through the market and totally ruined our dinner appetite.
After cutting up 2 watermelons and 3 cantaloupes (for work and for home), we decided to just continue our snacking frenzy for dinner. I had this much watermelon times 3 🙂
Seeded Crackers plus Roasted Red Pepper Hummus plus Tillamook pepperjack cheese just might be my absolute favorite new combination. I had 1 oz of cheese, plus 3 crackers, 1 lemon herb pita chip with a blog of The Hummus Guys Roasted Red Pepper Hummus.
Snack plates really do make the BEST dinner. I LOVE that The Husband is content with simple dinners like this lately since I have had 0 motivation to cook.
I am so glad tomorrow is Friday and the weekend is almost here. The Husband gets to plan out the entire weekend for what he wants to do for his birthday. Yeah, I do not have to make the decisions for once 😀 I’ll be sure to let you all know what we do.
Off to read and relax but somehow I think I’ll be asleep before I get through page 1.
Nite all!

I’m all about snack plates when I have no mood for cooking. Fresh fruits and veggies is hardly bad snacking.
