Happy Weekend all! Do you ever have days where you accomplish everything you set out to do for like the entire weekend? Well, that was my day today. I was up early making My List of things to do for the weekend with every intention it would take all weekend. Translation ~ cleaning, laundry, planning meals, shopping, Taxes!
I am happy to say that it ALL happened today (well I have one open item on my taxes, but…..) and we have a fun day tomorrow.
I powered up this morning with Egg-wiches for both of us (6 points+).
The Husband actually ran out and brought me Starbuck’s back while I was crunching away on our taxes.
Grande Non-Fat, Decaf Latte with Caramel Drizzle on top (3 points+)
After heading to Sam’s Club, we decided we should eat lunch BEFORE we went to Trader Joe’s to keep from buying everything in the store.
Enter Panera with a new to me ~ You Pick 2!
Fuji Apple Chicken Salad sans stinky cheese! I am completely IN LOVE with these crunchy apple chips, but, have to admit I totally think their Fuji Apple Vinaigrette tastes like Green Jolly Ranchers LOL.
It’s still delicious and I would totally get this salad again. (6 points+)
Chicken Noodle Soup ~ I keep forgetting to try the Tortilla Chicken & Pesto Veggie (2 points+)
All together with a whole grain baguette (5 points+ and worth every single one!) I LOVE the chew factor and nuttiness of the whole grain baguette.
Mid-Afternoon Tax Crunch ~ 1/2 oz Salt & Vinegar Almonds (2 points+)
We actually picked up this Organic Wood-Fired Sicilian Style Pizza at Trader Joe’s for a night when we didn’t feel like really “cooking”.
That night actually turned out to be tonight
The stats are pretty decent ~ 8 points+ for 1/3 of the pizza.
It is definitely A LOT smaller than the box, but, it still looked pretty delicious when we took it out.
I think one of my favorite parts is that half way through you drizzle this spicy red pepper olive oil over the pizza and crust to give it a bit of a kick.
I cut the pizza into 6 slices making each slice 4 points+ a piece. It totally is a mental thing for me to make me feel like it is more.
It’s not bad ~ I like the spicy kick of the pepper oil and creaminess of the cheese, but, it really does taste frozen pizza like.
Served up with gigantic side salads topped with a sprinkle of Black Pepper Almonds, garlic & cheese croutons and Balsamic Vinaigrette (4 points+)
I feel like I have had a really successful week regardless of what the scale says tomorrow. I have tracked everything I have eaten, earned some activity points and I am even leaving some WPA on the table. It’s all about consistently doing those things week after week ~ fingers crossed it shows!
We might head out to Sushi & a Movie tomorrow ~ I cannot wait!!!
Q’s:
Have any of you seen any good movies lately that we should watch?
See you all tomorrow with my weigh-in and weekly menu.
Night all!

Panera is always a fave 🙂 Have you ever tried their black bean soup or the Greek salad? Yum!
P.S. Have you seen 21 Jump Street? My fiance and I saw it last weekend and thought it was a good laugh 😛

I saw the Hunger Games on Friday and it was fantastic! I really want to see 21 Jump Street too. I’ve heard that was hilarious.

Hope the weigh in went well!!! You’re right, no matter what it says, the most important thing is consistency and eventually the scale will pay off 🙂
