My mouth just might have a “leak” in it

January 14, 2010 by DanicasDaily 8 Comments

Happy Hump Day all!!  You know I think somehow my days got mixed up because today started out like a complete Monday….beginning with my coffee cup leaking down the front of me and onto my keyboard!  Fun times!!! Needless to say, I no longer own that particular travel coffee mug :D

On the brighter side, my day DID get better as it went on.  For breakfast, I brought back one of my favorite funky eggs ~ My Egg White Fluffy!!!

IMG_7677

This beauty is only 60 calories and 1 Point plus it’s super easy to make.  You can find directions on THIS POST.  I cook them in the microwave so breakfast is ready before my toast is done.

I had slice of TJ’s FF multi-grain bread (1 pt) although if I would’ve picked grits or oatmeal this would’ve been a FILLING food.

IMG_7675

Plus 1 cup of cantaloupe. (1 pt)

IMG_7678

My breakfast kept me going ALL morning long, well, that and your boss wanting you to get him some stuff in a matter of two hours before he gets on a plane :D  Like I said – fun times!

Since it is my REST day, my co-worker and I decided to head out to lunch.  It was totally what I needed after my morning.  We went to TR2 because we LOVE their TACOS!!!  I had planned on 12 chips with salsa for 3 pts…….I had a few chips and salsa….until….

IMG_7681

You guessed it, I decided to wear some salsa too *sigh* So one of those days……I do LOVE their salsa.  Seriously, I think my mouth must have a big ole hole in it 😀

IMG_7683

I ordered 2 chicken tacos (4 pts each), but, I only ate the rice plus chip in my beans.

IMG_7684

They serve their tacos “Mexican Style” which means they are topped with hot sauce, pico de gallo, cabbage, cheese and GUACAMOLE….Words cannot describe how these spicy chicken tacos melt in your mouth as the AVOCADO cools it off.  I totally could’ve eaten this meal all over again right after I was finished.

My afternoon went much better after my Monday morning.  The Husband joined me for my Weight Watcher meeting and was absolutely adorable.  I told my leader he was there with me and she was like I’ll just smile at him but  wont’ embarrass him.  Oh ya, that so didn’t happen….She started the meeting off with Danica brought her cute husband…..He was totally taking it seriously and answering all the questions. I gained .8 lbs today (whatever ~ the scale lies!!)  I am really thinking it will show next week.

He actually had an “anterior” motive for going with me today though since he rides along with me to play poker while I chat it up with my hair dresser getting my hair done.

On the way out of town, we made a stop at Subway….I was totally excited to see that they have a NEW TO ME Choice….MINI SUBS!!!  They are 4 inch subs….Did you all know they had these?

IMG_7690IMG_7692

They are only 3 points (without additional toppings – meat, bread, veggies).  Here is what I had for 5 pts:

Turkey/Ham

Pepper Jack Cheese

AVOCADO

All the veggies they can dish up including HOT Peppers and pepper

IMG_7693

I also had a side of Apple “Chips”.  Totally crunchy and good!

IMG_7688

ADDED BONUS  ~ They are a filling food, meet a veggie requirement and are ZERO points woohooo!!!

IMG_7689

I always bring my hair dresser a Starbuck’s, so I stopped after dropping The Husband off.  I was super excited to see TWO of Annie’s new products……I LOVE that Starbuck’s is partnering with super cool companies to provide healthy, natural and organic alternatives to their customers.

First ~ Annie’s Snack Box – the entire box is 270 Calories….not too bad for all you get and for a Starbuck’s menu item.

IMG_7697

Then, a ton of Healthy Snackage (including AWESOME FoodShouldTasteGood cracker chips- love them!)  They totally should add Popchips too, huh?!

IMG_7694

In the middle of it all……ANNIE’S!!!!  I am pretty sure each pack is only 3 pts too and it’s totally packed full with goodness.

IMG_7695

Fun, right?!  I am excited now that I have some other options to check out that are not a bazillion calories if I want something healthy and clean to go with my latte.

I didn’t actually buy any snacks tonight, I just ordered a Tall FF chai tea latte for 3 pts.

IMG_7699

Alright all, I am off to do what I should’ve done this morning ~ go back to BED!  Have an awesome night and an even better Thursday….I totally know that is what I am hoping for 🙂

Nite!

I had no clue Subway had the 4 in. mini subs nor did they have avocado whenever we have gone. It’s been a while though….might have to check it out tonight. We had Panda last night and I did what you do with the veggies as the side. I probably shouldn’t have gotten the beef and broccoli plus the veggies because my whole meal was pretty much broccoli. I’m in for it today LOL

Wow! I didn’t know Subway had avocado! I bet it is a regional thing though. 🙁

Yes, we went over to Saint Maarten to visit our best friends for a day as they were also on their honeymoon.

    Have a great day!

Ohmigosh! That taco looks SO good!!
And that egg fluff is so cute…but I’ll miss my golden runny yolk! Maybe I’ll poach an egg and let the yolks flow on top of the fluff, like a sauce…an egg on an egg! haha!
