Happy Sunday everyone!! This might just be the shortest post I’ve ever written on one of the most AMAZING days ever. I started off my day LOSING 3.0 LBS at weigh in today! Thanks to all of you for your congrats on Twitter and Facebook ~ you kept me smiling all day!
I decided to celebrate with a Grande Nonfat Decaf Dirty Latte (Latte + 1 pump mocha) ~ 4 points+ and a banana.
I spent the morning getting our house back in order a little since we are almost done with our living room remodel. I cannot wait to show you all how it looks.
The Husband requested burgers for lunch and I figured why buy them when you can make something as amazing as this! Yes, you could lighten this up even more, but, sometimes, it’s worth it to “indulge” a little with the “real deal”
* 6 ounce 96% lean patty (pre-cooked weight) (5 points+)
* 1 Slice Pepper Jack Cheese (3 points+)
* 3 curly slices Oscar Meyer Center cut bacon (2 points+)
* 1/4 AVOCADO (3 points+)
* Lettuce, tomato, onion all on a “toasted” sesame seed bun (4 points+)
Worth every single bit and honestly probably better for you than anything you could buy.
After lunch, I spent a little time setting up the new Weekly Challenge, Guest Recipe and Tip of the Week at Friends for Weight Loss.
Then, we were off to Cache Creek for my early birthday Present!
The Husband got me FOUR hours of pampering with the “Day of Decadence” package which included a massage, facial, pedicure, manicure, a bowl of fruit with vanilla yogurt and banana nut bread. I RESISTED whipping out my camera to take a picture of my food since I was supposed to be relaxing and not thinking about working or computers or anything like that.
BUT, I did take one of their waiting room table LOL.
HERE IS WHAT IS ON THE MENU THIS WEEK:
* Coconut Shrimp on this week’s Weight Watchers Meeting Handout – YUM!
* Tacos
* Taco Salad
* Creamy Crockpot Chicken over Brown Rice
* Tortellini in Cabernet Wine Sauce
* My BIRTHDAY DAY!!!
* Oh and I am thinking about making this Italian Meatball Soup posted by TJ!
I am going to whip up a batch of Chicken Fried Rice with Veggies for this week’s lunches.

Congrats on your weight loss. That is awesome!
And that burger looks amazing. 🙂
Super congrats on the loss Danica! I didn’t do as well this week and I’m thinking I need to really look at my intake. I’m so worried about using points that I often don’t even get in my 29, then I see other people losing so well not only using their daily points but dipping into or using all of their weekly points! So, I’m re-vamping my thought process on this bc normally I kinda freak out if a meal is 10 pts + or more. I usually keep breakfast to 2-4 p+, lunch generally clocks in @ 6-9, then dinner is iffy – usually (well) under 10.
So, I’m following your lead and I’m going to have myself a burger tonight and try to really get all my points in. I also slacked a bit last week in the workout dept (my dog had major surgery, so I was more involved in tending to her). This week, workout mania is back on!
Kudos Danica – and thank you for your inspiration. I love your blog & the FfWL site.
I was JUST thinking about making taco salad for dinner?! GREAT minds I tell ya. What’s up with this weather?? Is it warm where you are? Was going to make b-nut squash soup tonight w. toasted sammies, but it’s 75* out 😀 and all I want is salad.
Mon- Taco Salad
Tues- Thai Curry Tofu Noodle Bowl (crockpot)
Wed- Stuffed Chicken Breasts w. broc and brown rice (for B)/ quinoa (for me)
Thur-B nut squash soup (if it gets a bit more chilly)
Fri- Leftovers!
Forgot to congradulate you on your loss!! Damn girl?! Great job!!
congrats on the loss. Burger looks so good.

Congrats on those 3 pounds! That’s great!
I’ve been loving a new soup that I tried from the WW site- Spicy Black Bean Soup! It is delicious! http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeid=99601
I’ve also started experimenting with smoothies. For the last few days I’ve made them with plain non-fat yogurt, a banana, some fresh spinach and a dash of Davinci Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup. I can’t believe the I’m drinking green smoothies! They are delicious!
Tonight I picked up some Fit & Active Vanilla Organic Soymilk from Aldi and made a smoothie with that and a banana. Yummy! It was a 2 Points+ treat!
Loving your blog!

I just love your approach to food. You are living the lifestyle not a diet. I don’t meal plan more than a couple of days out. But I am making my 7 pt chili tomorrow and that will give me an easy filling lunch for Wednesday & Thursday. And I thought I would try the General Tso’s recipe on the WW site for Wednesday.
Congratulations on your loss and day of pampering! That burger looked AWESOME!
hey i was wondering where you live? If you don’t mind saying.
In that picture with the starbucks cup and the background looks like a cute downtown city and cold weather, it makes me want to be there.
