Wow, it feels like I haven’t blogged for real in so long ~ I MISSED you all, but, kept taking pictures like a maniac so I could share away. Thank you all so much for the congrats on my recipe being published in Cosmopolitan ~ it’s fun for me especially since I didn’t even expect it. They sent me an email awhile back and asked permission to re-print my recipe….umm, yes, please! 🙂
This week’s Photo Friday is a catch up of my eats for the past 3 days.
I decided to give my body a little Kick Start again and I am having fun just picking and choosing from the meals plans that Weight Watchers has set up from both Kick Start Plans..
I LOVE it when I am so busy and just don’t have time to plan or when I feel like I need to get back to the basics. Each day falls between 23-26 points give/take. Fingers crossed it helps me earn some extra moohlah this week in my account.
This has been such a LONG week ~ I am so glad the weekend can officially begin and we can finally have some FUN!
WEDNESDAY
I DO NOT LIKE SIGGI’s ~ it was totally bitter like plain yogurt and you couldn’t taste the blueberries 🙁
I forgot my spoon so I used my pea 😀
THURSDAY
Homemade Fresh Tomato Basil Soup from the Freezer plus crushed red pepper flakes – Delicious!
I LOVE the Mozzarella Sun Dried Tomato Basil Laughing Cow Flavor – it has flecks of tomato and basil without being too over powering.
The Husband’s Willie’s Burger ~ it’s my favorite, but, I refrained and got a salad!
FRIDAY
I LOVE Sriracha…just a little!
I made this ~ Fresh Pineapple Sesame Chicken 😀
THE END!!!
I’ve told you this before, but only you can make a sandwich look so delicious 🙂
Your “love” garden is blossoming 😀
You know Danica, I don’t like Siggs either. I thought something was wrong with me at first because everyone seems to rave over it, but it just tastes way too bitter for me! I thought I was the only one but thank goodness there are others out there who like a sweeter greek yogurt! 😉
Have a great weekend darling.
Lots of delicious pictures! 🙂 Congrats on the recipe posting in Cosmo! 🙂 Cool!
Sooo…are you going to share the recipe for the pineapple sesame chicken??? It looks fabulous!
Your garden looks great, too! Those peppers are beautiful, as is the cuke. And it looks like Mr. Stripey is close to bearing fruit.
Hope you’re having fun on your road trip!
Hi Marie,
I followed this Weight Watcher Recipe for the Pineapple Chicken making a few modifications.
http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeid=105141
I added Sriracha for heat, sesame seeds for decoration, steamed broccoli for crunch and used fresh pineapple since I didn’t have any canned. It was pretty tasty and very filling.
I am super excited our garden is finally growing!!!
