Happy Friday all! The Husband and I decided to take a nice long weekend to enjoy the sunny warm snowy cold Sierra Mountains. Our Road Trip today took us to Reno, The Biggest Little City and tomorrow we head over to Lake Tahoe & Carson Valley! To keep you all entertained while we are off playing in the sun snow, I have all the recipes I’ve been telling you about lined up with the first one posting today.
* Broccoli, Turkey Sausage Crustless Quiche with a Kick
* Meyer Lemon Chia Seed Muffins
* Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread – MY FAVORITE!!!
* Spicy Shredded Chicken – perfect for tacos, taco salad, Mexican Asian Fusion salads 😉
I will be back on Monday with a full recap of our trip…..And don’t forget to enter to win a SHOPPING SPREE because the winner will be announced on Monday as well!
For now….PHOTO FRIDAY!!!
P.S. I got over 16,000 steps and burned over 3,700 calories today – so glad I got in my 30 m HIIT on the treadmill before taking off 🙂
Have a fantastic weekend all!!!!

Great photos! The one that caught my eye? The hotel room! I’m a sucker for hotels, and that one looks really nice!

Have a great trip!! The recipe for that sausage quiche looked AMAZIIING… but I have some turkey bacon that I need to use up so I’m thinking that might work too?! Bacon, broccoli, eggs, JALAPEñOS, and FRANKS and I’m golden. Thanks for the recipe!

Hi Naomi,
Thanks…we are having a good trip so far. Those fries are AMAZING! They are from Jack’s Urban Eats and are called Urban fries. Fries with a little garlic chili oil, crushed red pepper flakes, parsley and a little blue cheese that really tastes like ranch.
